As a coach, you can control the situation completely in joint practices. You can’t in preseason games. 
 

Fan demand for preseason games is quite low. I don’t envy season ticket holders having to pay for home preseason games.

The only year I remember feeling good about the team but we sucked was 2006.

'18 and '19 preseasons we looked good, granted both those seasons were derailed largely due to Cam not being healthy but still.

The sky was falling about the offense and Zod was leading the mob against the team in the 2015 preseason. Then we had 15 wins and the #1 offense.

      Hubert had a top 10 recruiting class last year with two top 10 recruits. Stop it duuuude. The kid went for the money. He is going to get north of $10 million to play at BYU. The family basically adopted George Lynch through this process and they have close ties to KJ Smith. It was money pure and simple, and if the Utah Jazz's owner didn't pay for the kid he would be a Tar Heel. Hubert had an outburst at the NIL collective meeting at the first of the season on lack of funds. UNC has to get with the times. Having said that, I wouldn't have paid that either for a six month player rental. Hubert won the ACC last year, had a top 10 recruiting class, and went to a National Championship in his first season. Wes Miller hasn't even played a ranked team yet and got beat by Villanova. Enough with the Wes Miller slobfest. How did he become a name that you have to hear over and over? Was it by having a mid-tier ACC coach run at UNCG? Man get the f*ck out of here with that! Only thing he can do better than Hubert Davis is make an easier non conference schedule.  To the both of you, they are not going to fire Hubert Davis and underwhelming ass Wes Miller will never be the coach at UNC. Please quit acting like he is Roy at Kansas.
