I hope he's humbled and put in the work this off-season because that dude was completely full of himself last preseason. Dude would go out there and look like a damn speed bump and then be over there laughing it up on the sidelines and talking a big game when they'd interview him.

I think the guy has the talent to do the job. Hopefully last year's ass whooping was a needed wakeup call that sustained NFL success isn't easy.

icky was free to stunts, biltzs, and twists last year- same for the whole OL. that's when I gave up on campy, zero improvement form week2week. OL was not listening, then reports of tepper, fittererererrer, tepper wife watching OL drills......I'm out.

Lastly how does this guy think he would coast on his "good" rookie season??? the whole time campy was giving help to him and holding his hands. then he entered season 2 and thought it would repeat??

I got just little more faith in ickys turnaround over young's. He should have gotten benched last season too. 

He must workout, cause you can not be a team that's looking for LT, QB, WR, and edge at the same fuging time.....SOMEONE has to step up!

It cannot be stated enough how bad Frank was with O-Line performance. It’s one of the reasons he got Matt Ryan killed his last season with an incredible amount of talent across the line, and the next season they look light years better, with the same crew. He comes here and the line that once looked like the biggest team strength, suddenly could not pick up a stunt and was by far the worst line in the league. I know injuries played a part, but you cannot ignore Franks outdated scheme and the effect it has over the last few years.

It's not like we don’t know there is a panthers .com site. And how to access it. 

How about, they don’t get to post happy Bryce and Icky fluff until Tepper goes a full year without firing the coach? 

Or maybe put all their stuff in that 'only positive thoughts allowed' thread a while back.

His problem is more technique than strength.  He gets caught reaching or off balance a lot.  Hes not good in space.   Hes decently solid if he gets his hands on the rusher without being overextended.   All that said his strengths and weaknesses on paper line up the exact opposite for what you want with a wide zone blocking scheme but we will see.

too many smart people in football these days.  The old school try and stop what you know is coming approach just isn't going to work (minus having just an absurd roster where the talent levels are just out of whack).  You got to be innovative on offense.  NFL defenses in this era will feast on the predictable.

      Yes I agree, the future RT could easily be christ. When he shocking re-signed here for the cheap, he said part of the reason was the OL coaching staff.  I've already thought too much about 2026. The RT has all the options, including resigning Motown. I was never a big fan, but he's solid and peptides and stem cells can fix a gippy knee. If he makes it though this year and wants to return, why not for 2 years 16 million?? Or like you said give the job to Christ or draft your RT...... that I feel is the best current method. With both OGs in the 20 million per cap range and Icky......ooooooooooo boy he could be the first 30 million per OLmen in NFL history. That's a huge portion of cap space for the OL, which I agree with, but in order to offset those 20 and 30 million deals... you need cheap rookie contracts. (unless Motown would take a huge pay cut and whoever the C will be).  This is the deepest OL I can recall in Panthers history.  I believe Morgan should try and trade either Kingston or Zavala.  I didn't even talk about Yosh, Tarquin, or Walton. Yosh is same age as christ and why not him as RT after good swing tackle years? Tarquin is a UDFA on the prayer program, 150,000 in guarantees and why not him in 2026? Walton seems to be a OL coach favorite, he followed the Tampa Bay staff here after 2 years there and add in one year here, he's stuck around for some reason. I think they need to spend very light on RT and Panthers have lots of options, I love it.
