It has always been my suspicion that Bryce was, “Thrown into the deep end of the pool and expected to sink or swim.”

This year he has experience and less stress.

I think he has more stress and pressure this year vs last

Alright,  I understand why you're saying what you're saying.  That comment was to be worded in a more generalized way.  Can't walk into any thread without people just tearing down a kid who was a rookie on an offense that 100% failed last season.  Only part of it that didn't, was Adam T.  Someone was getting him the ball.

One more thing.

Nobody is happy with Bryce's performance last season.  I bet you nobody is more disappointed about it than Bryce himself.  He IS that kind of leader.

i have zero issues with his character.

So would you guys prefer they just not talk or give interviews at all and we have nothing to read and zero insight, or is it that you want him to say everything is terrible and the sky is falling?

We would prefer a team and qb that doesn’t suck.

He is wasted here and he has to know it.

His career would be over if it wasn’t for us. He said last year the panthers were the only team willing to make him a starter.

Tells you something about Frank and Fitt’s evaluation skills.

They traded a #1 WR and then drafted a project QB with questionable talent with the #1 pick. We all know their evaluation skills were crap.

Not being a starter isn't his career ending but just hitting his end zone. He might have felt that way but there are tons of teams he could have played for and helped. He shouldn't be a starter any more, you know that's how he ended up on a dumpster fire, but he can still put up a 1000 yards with trash QB play. He isn't done yet even if he isn't near his prime anymore.

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
