Not directly Panthers related but D’Onta Foreman had a bad neck injury during a punt return drill today in Cleveland.

"During practice today, Browns RB D'Onta Foreman sustained a direct blow to the head that resulted in neck pain. The Browns athletic training staff deployed their standard emergency action procedures to immobilize Foreman. He was taken to an ambulance and is being transported via helicopter to a Medical Center in Roanoke, VA to undergo further medical evaluation. Foreman had movement in all his extremities. Updates will be provided as more information is received. "

The helicopter transport is the browns are doing training camp at the Greenbrier, a resort way out in the sticks in West Virginia. It would’ve been like a 2 hour drive in the ambulance. This is mostly precautionary.

That said, get well soon Foreman!

Practice tweets might be a little thin tonight compared to earlier this week unless a few of those fan accounts make the drive down

One of the reasons I know it’s tonight and not Saturday is because there will be a large contingent of panthers executive staff in Canton on Saturday for Peppers.
