Said that’s not on Jaycee and, based on his technique, he was clearly expecting help over the top.

said this is the kind of stuff you sort out by actually playing players in preseason.

did not say it explicitly but it was pretty clear what he thought about it.

My issue is he quit pursuit

whether it was, or was not, his assignment isn’t the issue to me. Everyone gets beat. Everyone endures assignment screw ups

You don’t quit pursuit. Things can happeN in pursuit. Nothing is going to happen if you don’t other than a score

There is no point in chasing shaheed he had a better chance of tearing his hamstring than catching that mf

    • I agree with Moore but honestly if he doesn’t suit up but 10 games and contributes it’ll be better than trading him for a 4-7 rounder. Cooker pops a hammy we'll need him to step right in. He may be down the depth cart but it’s prob better to have him than a random 6th round practice squad LB. It’s such a long and brutal season quality depth is needed we just hate that it’s our 1st rounder that’s depth to a undrafted guy but that’s how it played out.
    • I would say we wouldn't get anything for him in a trade, but we found 1 team stupid enough to trade us a 4th for Mingo. I don't think they trade him though, barring an offer like that, but they won't pick up his option and just let him walk after year 4. Will he not be nearly 30 at that point anyway?
