Worse To Watch: Jimmy Clausen Era or Bryce Young Era?

Young era by far

Clausen year at the time felt temporary because it was the last year of Fox's contract, it was clear Jerry blew up that team to prove a petty point, and we all thought the Panthers would just get Andrew Luck. Yeah that of course didn't happen but we still got a great QB in the end.

Young era is just another chapter in the shitshow of the Tepper era. And deep down I think we all know the nightmare isn't going to end once Young is gone.

At this point let’s keep Bryce going, get the number 1 pick. Get some stud player. Still keep young next year get number 1 pick again and draft Manning to change our future.

And the league needs to force Tepper to sell.

I'm all about the second part. That's where my last drop of hope lies.

The first one doesn't matter. This team is locked in on a top 5 pick anyways. Dalton won't play too much before falling apart. The rest of the team needs a chance to improve and that's not happening with Bryce. It's very hard to justify not sitting him if they get behind like the last 2 games. Hell just play Plumber. It's not going to effect the draft position much anyways but the games would get more watchable and the guys on the roster would get a chance to improve.

    • I’m really having a hard time understanding how this actually went down. -Renfrow expected to make roster as 2nd/3rd string. -Panthers cut Renfrow; Keep Brycen Tremayne, and add UDFA receiver (Dalevon Campbell) to active roster.  -Canales/Morgan say it’s totally up to Hunter whether he wants to come back or not, they would love to have him.    -Renfrow not signed to PS -Panthers trade Adam Thielen -Hunter Renfrow signed to active roster with a raise after an injury to Coker nobody heard about and is likely to start.    Our WR room is now: -Xavier Legette (2024 1st round pick) -Tet McMillan (2025 1st round pick) -Hunter Renfrow (1 year out of the league) -David Moore (Canales’ friend? A guy way past his prime) -Jimmy Horn (Likely a Shi Smith reprint, but has potential 2025 6th round pick, weighs 174 lbs) -Brycen Tremayne (2023 UDFA who was on Washington’s PS for 2 years and caught 1 pass for -2 yards and averaged 300 yards per year at Stanford) -Dalevon Campbell (2025 UDFA had a good preseason but had 1463 yards and 3 TDs over 5 college seasons at 3 different schools). What the hell is going on?
    • Not uncommon for week 1 games. Especially against good defenses. It’s why I prefer my team play these small schools week 1 if they are going to play them. Gives the offense time to get calibrated.
