He's Will Levis on a better team.

So yeah, in the early 2nd I'd start to get tempted depending on who else was available.

It’s time for us the be the patient team and let a QB fall to us. Don’t touch one with our first but if one we like falls to us later take him and let the poor bastard sit behind a vet for fugs sake

We've made too many dumb decisions to trust ourselves. Trading up was honestly probably the right call. We just drafted the wrong QB. No reason to think we wouldn't do it again. I'm fine with taking a QB in the first but don't trade up to do it. I don't trust the organization to make the right call.

Strangely I do trust Canales but I can’t see him getting the final say

Kid has the arm and can make all the NFL throws.

Like Kevin O’Connell said it’s on organizations to develop these kids. I see the Levis comp above and that’s fair without the extremely boneheaded crap Levis has been doing these first few weeks. If that’s the case pair Beck up with a good coach and he’d be fine

People are really starting to mistake college success equals success as a pro

Its how a Bryce Young ends up going 1

3 int's and couldn't finish the comeback.

Sanders/Ward both finished the job during their comebacks.

Im not a Beck fan but he's gonna mess around and be available in the later rounds and I think Canales may take him as his project QB. That's my worst nightmare because I want nothing to do with this kid.

Not a Beck fan either but it's kinda crazy to compare coming back agaist Baylor to Alabama....

Ward is my favorite but VT is also no where close to Alabama.

#Ward

    • Ehlers needs to sit. Definitely can't lose him to a meaningless game.
    • Bet didn't hit because the referee missed 3 clear corner kicks. I had a 5k parlay that would have been alive tomorrow if he didn't miss those calls as well. Super annoying
    • I don't think it's at all a given that we have players who are good at driving the basket. I guess that depends on your definition. Bridges is 43rd in attempts in the paint Miller is 64th and LaMelo is 66th. We all love to see the lob threat but it's largely miniscule at this point in time. There's gotta be a solution here if LaMelo is to be the centerpiece because this is simply not sustainable if we want to continue to ascend. If he can't drive to the basket then that means we need to add another player to the core who consistently can. That would require moving someone like Miles Bridges. And that's certainly not going to be popular with LaMelo but something has to give here for what we are investing and we need to maximize guys like Miller and Knueppel on rookie deals while we still can. The three chucking is fine when it's working where the issue comes into play is there are no adjustments when it isn't and we just go into a shell and begin to look like the Hornets of yesteryear. That's why the offensive evolution of all involved is critical to us taking the next step. Getting to the play in is nice but we should have our sights set much higher. Right now though they need to take care of business against the Heat. All I ask is that they at least beat those fools. I cannot stand the Heat.
