I wouldn't expect us to lose every single game for the rest of the year even with how bad we've been.  Mostly looking at the divisional match ups remaining + the Giants.

If that does happen though, I'm not entirely sure Canales and Morgan will be here in 2025.

Yeah, I know people keep saying Canales is safe but.....1-16 might change that. Especially with someone like Tepper at the helm.

This team is not winning another game this season and you can take that to the bank.

Now we just need a few of these other 1 win teams to win a game or 2. I don't even want to share the top spot.

I'm not sure about the other bottom feeders but Carolina ain't winning squat the rest of the way. They missed their window. Someone would have to throw the game for the Panthers to win.

On the one hand, it's definitely hard to see us winning another game since we do appear to be the worst team in the league by a wide margin.

On the other hand, evidently the Panthers only exist to steal joy from it's fanbase so it's completely conceivable we'll somehow win a couple of games at some point just to keep us from getting #1.

Even if we lose out the remaining season, firing Morgan and Canales solves nothing and will only further damage Tepper’s bad reputation as an impetuous, impatient and incompetent owner. This team will continue to suck until we get this roster in better shape. Period. Any coach or GM would have a hard time making chicken salad out of this,…well you know.

Honestly having pick 2 or 3 might save us from a bad decision, so that tells me we'll have the first pick

Morgan doesn't need to be.  Neither does our scouting department.   You can never turn around a team devoid of talent until you can consistently add it through the draft and we haven't been able to do that in a very long time.

I have been seeing what has emerged as a theme lately. The scouting thing. I don't think anybody really knows a lot about it. So you can say what you want who can correct you?

This might be the most involved thing I have seen on Bleacher Report but it is a good read.

    • You literally did it right there and didn't even remember it. Sorry long Friday.
    • TMac to finish up Feels good after pads came on. Physicality is a little different, playstyle is a little different. Refs let the players play, so he has to earn his stripes to get calls and just has to be better playing through contact. Focusing on staying confident and listening to coaches. Not much has changed for him, still trying to be his authentic self. Was asked about boxing practice he was seen doing. He's done that since he was a kid because his dad was a boxer and taught his siblings. Was the youngest and got beat up the most, but now he's the fourth of sixth children. Boxing helps with his cardio and being reactive with his hands to the ball + DB. Admits to struggling the first couple of days, hats off to the DB corps for making him better every single day but had his best day on Wednesday. Even the best get got. Just have to remain confident in preparation and abilities. Confidence will take you only so far, and that's where his resilience plays a factor. XL is authentic and great to have in the room. Can rely on him to be the same guy every day. They make each other better. Everybody feeds off of each other and when one person wins they all win. Happy to be a part of the receiver room. Was asked about how he was laughing harder than everybody else at XL getting his feet in the water off the back of the boat: "Man he needs to be stopped bro... He can't be serious but he was serious. It's all good." Playing against the increased amount of press he's facing in practice is helping him get more physical. His job is to catch the ball, so if it touches his hand he has to come down with it. Only catches with one hand if he needs to, but that gives the QB a bigger catch radius. Had a pregame routine where he did a 360 one-handed catch, but doesn't do it anymore. Working on being a pro: Getting into the facility early and getting treatment, eating better, etc. Just wants to win re: rookie goals. Anything he can do to help the team win. "I'm looking for to the season man and keep pounding."
    • DJ Wonnum up next Felt the defense came out ready to work at all levels and took over practice. New standard around here. Young guys have to know they're coming in to work. Last year was not the standard. Nic and Princely are fun. Different personalities but loves what they bring to the room. Sky is the limit for them. Nic sits next to Wonnum, Princeley sits next to Jones II. Allows them to be better mentors. Feels great and ready to go Incoom's athleticism allows him to bend and get low even to compensate for not being the biggest guy. Can set the edge. EDGE guys are helped when the ILBs can get home because it allows them to be a little more free while still in scheme. DB being back means his dominance is back. Can set the edge from the 3 or wherever he's at to make the runs bounce to the EDGE guys. Winning mentality and standard this year. Championship level from practice to how you live off of the field. Accept greatness and excellence with guys wanting to come to work every day. Not settling for anything less. Been in guys' shoes that are fighting for roster spots so he knows how to address them. Remembers not knowing what's next, especially as a rookie. Have a clear mind and ask the older guys a lot of questions. Has a good relationship already with Pat Jones II due to knowing each other and talking football all of the time. Can make hand gestures and know immediately what to adjust. Taking care of his body and excited to start the season. Getting it acclimated to football again by being able to tackle and bring players to the ground. Didn't know they were playing live tomorrow. Don't tell me it'll be "thud." Browns next week will allow them to hit somebody else and get a feel of what a different team is doing. Also allows the team to see where they're at on offense and defense. Ready to play football. Not worried about the QB matchup for Cleveland, going to play hard regardless of who is back there.
