2025 Mock Drafts

Even a month earlier than last years thread got started.

Ill start

I’m not over the moon with any of these QBs to the point that I’d take them over a trade down and fill some of the thousand other holes on this Roster

Traded down with Vegas who try to make a splash going up for Sheduer with TB12 as the new partial owner.

We net their 2nd rounder and 5th along with next years 1st.

1st pick seems like a reach as where he is being mocked currently.  But I’m going off projection.  Walker is not only a local kid.  but he is that Alpha Dog we desperately need on that defense.  He a stud off ball linebacker but a machine as a pass rusher (Georgia’s leader in sacks last year, 3 sacks against a Texas team Saturday who’s LT is projected top 2 in this class at his position). Walker and Wallace hopefully become the next stud LB combo that we’ve had over the year from Luke/TD, TD/Beason, Morgan/Fields and beyond.

Next 2 picks focus on the DL that’s been Charmin soft without Brown.

Again a theme of the past.  For the most part, all of the Panthers top defenses have had a good duo (not just 1) at DT.  To help stop the run and open up things for those LBs.  Ask Luke and Morgan how great it was to have Star/Kk or Jenkins/Bukner.  This defense has not been able to stop the run at all since Rivera left.  And that needs to change.

that being said.  Get a solid DT to Pair with a Brown then a big physical SDE that reminds me of AJ Epenesa coming out.

next took a QB.  A toolsy guy who may or may not be around.  But someone who can sit and hopefully groom down the road to be a high level backup at worst case scenario.

4th rd:  went with a RB.  I’d love to have Chubba back.  But we don’t have the most cap space and a ton of holes.  We have to sign a starting Center, a vet starting QB, and possibly Johnson if Mingo doesn’t progress.  Canales claims to want to run the ball a lot.  Not sure if we aren’t because we’re down 2-3 scores by the end of the 1st quarter every game.   But you need multiple RBs.  In Seattle when Canales was there.  The year after they took Kenneth Walker 41st overall, they turned around and drafted another RB 52nd overall the very next year.

hopefully the Defense will turn it around next year.  Then worse case scenario, we package the 2 1sts and move up for a QB in a class that people seem to be higher on.

Would absolutely love this. Build around Brown and have a DL that is nasty. If Walker pans out, you have a front 7 that's not playing around.

Seriously, I have done my research on all these guys. All of them are playmakers and eventual starters. Its a too good to be true draft. Lol

Big school OL late, too solid pass rushers, a mid round CB that could be our CB2 sooner than later, safety help, a shifty WR later in Horn (possible special teams immediate help), oh and a potential franchise QB in there. I’m loving it!

I hate that I put too instead of two and can’t fix it…

You have no idea how anxious I am to get some real pass rushers in here. Its so depressing what I'm watching every week. We have never seen it this bad on defense. Nobody can get to the qb quickly.

I'm really a huge fan of multiple trade downs in this draft.  Trading down twice in the first or once in the 1st and once in the 2nd is going to set us up extremely nicely for 2026 draft. I don't personally think there's a player in this draft that's worth #1 overall without a trade down.

Pending Evero is back.

traded down.  Taking the Giants 2nd, next years 1st, and their 2023 1st rd pick.  Deonte Banks (athletic young CB, who just got benched)

got a high upside edge rusher in Williams

Barron is a versatile CB, who would fit and be a day 1 impact guy in Evero’s defense.

Traded down again and got a athletic WR

next 2, got a good TE and RB.  With Chubba and all our TEs not named Sanders hitting FA.   Backfilled those spots with talent.  Both will seeing playing time in this offense

    • My read is they intended to try and get points but that first run and usage of the clock was done to hedge against things going poorly. Basically they shouldn't need all that time to score since they had multiple timeouts. Dirting that second play put us in a no-win situation. Sure you can run on 3rd down but ARI had timeouts so they still likely get the same result.
    • Anyone catch Adam archuletta referring to him as a “young qb” like bitch this is year three players are in the Super Bowl by now.
    • I never said he had a good game in the Denver game.  As you said we had a good first drive ending in Bryce throwing a slant to XL for a TD.  It was garbage time but the back shoulder throw to Coker for the late TD was a great throw.   Throws like these in bad games are why I say he "can" do it and has the physical tools.  The question is can he do it consistently, continue to improve, grow and become our QB of the future.  Up to this point that was a hard no but with a new head coach and Bryce in his 2nd year it was 100% the right call to play out the year and see if he got better.  He did.   Two games into this year is still more of the up and down quality of play and coaching but there is still plenty of potential and we have 16 more games to decide if it's worth it to continue down this path. I don't know what will happen but I know cutting him or benching him now makes zero sense on any level. I said of those last 10 games we were only blown out in 2 of them.  I'll concede the Denver game was a blow out.  So 3 blowout loses and 7 competitive games, 4 of which we won, all decided by less than a TD.  Sounds like a team growing, improving and getting better.  All I want to do is see where that leads and if those examples of starting NFL level quarterbacking can continue to improve and become more consistent.   Anyone with pride would retire?  Laughable.  Do all of you quit in your daily lives every time things get tough or don't go your way?
