Bryce being the starter again was the nail in the coffin for Johnson.

He don't want to play with that again.

Don't blame him one iota for feeling that way regarding that.

But he was already done before this. Never should have traded for him at this point. Fans of the Steelers who came by to talk about the trade told us what was up with Diontae.

I am glad we got him. Because he did create space between him and the defenders. He did his part in getting us to the place we needed to get to this year.

We know it isn't the WRs or OL with Bryce, it was Bryce.

Let's be real with one another. Anyone who watched Bryce Young play QB last season that wasn't giving lip service because he played for Alabama already knew what was more than likely going to transpire regardless of Johnson.

Yes he's talented. But he is realistically at best a solid second option in an offense that already an indisputable #1. We didn't need him to know what we had in Bryce.

The reasoning for the trade was low risk high reward but he was a known malcontent. The Steelers should damn well know one when they see one after Antonio Brown. Come on now. If random fans online knew it then Morgan certainly knew what he was getting into and that it was unlikely he would sign with us long term. This was the kind of trade Fitterer would make. Kind of like when Scott traded for Gilmore knowing he wouldn't stay here. Ultimately just ends up being a waste of everyone's time. Meh.

I should have said other people needed it, because I knew. I knew you knew, you knew I knew, and we both knew at least half the people needed to see more because they hadn't seen enough to know that they knew - and told us all about it every chance there was.

We did not want Dante any more for whatever reason and people were fine with that trade as I recall.

All I remember is the ALL IN to support Bryce and find out he is or is not the guy Which the people who begged for him not to be drafted, the whole eliminating the excuses thing was just a formality that had to be endured. Like games 4-17 of the 2023 season.

Too early to call it a fitterer draft, we have no idea if everyone sucks or not. right now 3 of our picks are contributing significantly already in their rookie years with the potential for a 4th in brooks. Also, he got us a 2nd round pick back for the 2025 draft, so that's another positive.

That's already better than a fitterer draft, but again, too early to tell if everyone sucks or not.

If all 4 of the players end up at least mid, that's a better draft than Fitt ever had.

They have contributed but I wouldn't say any of them have looked especially good or like difference makers.  So far they look like if they were on a team that didn't have the least talent in the NFL they wouldn't have seen the field yet.

I'm all in on Bryce currently. I'm all in that we find a team stupid enough to give us anything at all for him in the off-season. Worst and most plays afraid QB I have ever ever seen in my life and I have seen a few turds in my day even playing with a couple stinkers but never to Bryce's level of stink before. He takes stinking to a whole different cosmic level unfortunately

Any why are the Hornets being included?  Don't disrespect the Canes like that.

Because the Canes, Panthers, and now Hornets have all go through ownership changes since 2018.

Canes have been killing it. Hornets new ownership and head coach seem to have a vision in place and have done a lot of good things since taking over.

David Tepper on the other hand hasn’t done a single positive thing for the Panthers besides putting the logo at midfield.

Well, he brought us the Hall of Honor.  Which I do like.  Which celebrates all the players and times that he had nothing to do with.

    • Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 (💯) while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American.  Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that.  That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.
    • Ive said it 1000x times on here.  Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games.  poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe.  Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
    • I basically made almost the exact predictions on a phone call with a buddy about 3 weeks ago. I really do expect Evero gone before the seasons end, Young to just not able to get over the hump enough and DC to head into next season on a VERY hot seat.
