Bryce is not overtaking anything but a waiver or trade spot. This reminds me of that one year where Jake magically had a thumb injury which necessitated his benching. Andy gets in a car wreck (thankful he and his family are ok - hoping the other party is ok too) and he somehow walks away with a thumb injury in his throwing hand? 

beginning of the end for both QBs in Carolina.

Sometimes you have to think about the worst case scenario.

We wake up in it daily. But thinking he is going to come on and take this team 4-6 the rest of the way?  That's kind of unlikely. 

Worst case might be he looks really good for a half, gets injured, and people have all that time to talk themselves back into him.

I agree, it’s wild that some think bc he has one good game, it automatically assumes he’s good, I don’t know how sports media has forgotten 16 games last year and two this year. It’s been abysmal. Yes Andy was bad against the bears and commanders, but he was ten times better than Bruce against LV, ATL and cincy.

I'd love to see it.

But for him to not only look "better" (nowhere to go but up from one of the worst ever) but like a real bonafide franchise QB and take back the starting job would be one of the more improbable turnarounds in sports history. We'll see.

It is impossible because the Panthers ruined him.

      Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.

      Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players

      This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
