Build up the Dline, just like the Oline

The offensive line has become the strongest unit on the team. They have made the running game click and kept Bryce vertical.

The next step is building a dominant Dline. Use the draft and FA to add the pieces needed. That would make the biggest difference. A QB would be nice (Bryce has looked better, but still not close to being a game changer.)

Defiantly need to get the defense up to snuff. If Bryce keeps improving, he may get another season. They can't go another season with the defense being a weak link.

That's cool but just know we aren't winning anything until we solve the elephant in the room.

I feel like Jenkins was only really great in 02/03, he took a long time to get back in shape. He was supposedly pretty good his first season with the Jets. Having him and Moose in 05 would have been amazing.

Yeah he might have been hurt 2004 but what a great player in his early Panthers years. He was a “dawg”. Another parting gift from Seifart.

It is football, still. You control the LOS, both sides, you win that game most of the time.

Jenkins, we took so long to replace him. Way too long. Gettleman won me over big with his first draft.

But he is another story.

That has to be the priority and should be until have one. I think there are 2 who have a good chance, and the others are developmental--and I think there are some decent qbs to develop.  I think we need a 2-part plan--Sign a vet, draft a QB, and let Bryce compete.  None of this entitlement crap.

As for the OP, he is right--we need a DT, an edge or two.   I also think we need to draft a WR.

Not just the line but the front 7, wouldn't mind double dipping at edge or an edge LB combo in the 1st 2 rounds

This.

Adding Brown back in the mix next year will help a lot.  I actually think the “line” is fine.  We need to upgrade the entire ILB/OLB group.  Toss in a ball hawking safety and we’re in business.

    • 5 straight completions in the 4th quarter to get into the red zone and then score a stand up rushing TD and celly in one of the best defenses faces to bring the score within 1 possession against the super bowl champs is "stunned" to you?
    • yes, if you read what I said - that was due to his record breaking 245 yard 4th quarter performance in garbage time when the Seahawks were already celebrating. If Bryce puts up big numbers in the 4th quarter, people like you are quick to call it garbage time stats but seem to get selective when other QB's do it because it doesn't fit your narrative.  also, I'm logical enough to admit that Drake is a great QB and his performance had a lot to do with his protection, play calling, and other aspects. The game does not fall completely on the QB. Just like how the Panthers were still in the game vs Seattle until Horn's penalty changed that. It is a team sport, so many factors, players, refs, coaches are involved and it only takes one thing to change the game. the obsession with Bryce is just nauseating at this point and if you pay attention on here, it's the same 10 users quoting and pieing each other. it's super weird and everywhere else you go, opinions on Bryce are trending upwards. the way the season ended, the vibe at the stadium, the performance, should have everyone excited about this next season. Idk, maybe I just look at life and my entertainment outlets differently than others.
    • Are we sure something hasnt happened to him because that seems pretty shitty to simply abandon this place
