That's because he doesn't have confidence in Bryce. And if that doesn't change, one of them is going to have to go.

Bryce? On 4th and 1? I mean... Chuba has clearly done something to lose Canales' trust because we're on the goal line and he's playing full back or not on the field...

I think we can all agree that one of the most glaring weaknesses on offense is the inability to score TDs once inside the red zone. We’ve outplayed these guys all afternoon  and are losing. I’m not gonna cry about losing this game because in the big picture it doesn’t amount to much. We aren’t making the playoffs and a bad record only gives us higher picks in the draft.

But, we cannot go into 2025 and expect a significant improvement in the win column if we keep leaving points on the field by settling for FGs. It cost us last week vs the Chiefs and will probably cost us win today because all of the momentum has swung in Tampa’s direction.

We are not the worst team.....but we still suck and at the bottom half of the totem pole.....hopefully next season we will be much better.

Bucs are arguably worse based on how they've played the majority of the game. We have been getting outcoached. And despite what some homers here have argued today QB is still a need.

Game over. Bucs tried to gift a win to this team and the dipshit retards couldn’t take advantage. Same old same old this team is forever going to be worthless garbage.

It’s like just when most of us are ready to give up on the season they give us a glimmer of hope… just to poo right back on us again… this team smh

That doesn't have anything to do with Canales and his confidence in him. I've said every week that it doesn't seem like he trusts Bryce

Well if that's true next week he'll likely have an excuse to bench him again because the Eagles are going to wipe the field with us.

    • Unfortunately you just can't get through to some of these folks. The most successful season in Panthers history our #1 WR was Ted Ginn Jr who had just as many bone headed drops as he did highlight touchdowns. We already have the highest paid OL in the league two years running. We need a balanced roster more than anything else clearly.
    • https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2026/04/06/nfl-draft-trade-rumors-panthers-chargers-quentin-johnston/89484524007/?link_source=ta_first_comment&taid=69d47a425bd91b00016ecfb1&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=facebook Saw this hypothetical trade down scenario on Panthers wire where they had us dropping from 19 to 22 trade with the chargers which also knitted us the addition of Quinton Johnston personally I would take this deal because the players available at 22 and 19 are largely the same you could pick up maybe a tackle or even one of those defensive tackles that we liked like banks.  Grabbing a wide receiver who could probably replace legate and be a deep ball threat would be just what the doctor ordered in my opinion Yes he's kind of a reclamation project similar to legette but I think he's shown he can play and has more big game moments than legette. I think it would be like getting two for the price of one really allowing us to feel more holes getting a wide receiver and another spot filled for nothing but two or three draft spots.
    • I saw a mock draft where Monroe Freeling falls to the Panthers at 19 and if that happens they'd better rush their card to the podium.
