Ummm....you didn't know? Bryce is already the franchise qb, best qb in the division,  best in his draft class and top 5 in the whole league based off these last 5 games. True story

I get that. 

For most, he couldn't ever have a deep game, according to the huddle. 

He is proving otherwise.

He is certainly shifting the narrative, but I’m going to need more than two good games and two decent games. I will certainly admit that I didn’t think he’d ever be able to throw the sort of deep passes we’ve seen the past two weeks. He showed absolutely nothing prior to then, always floating wobbling ducks on any pass over ten yards. Guess he just had to clean up his technique a bit because he really has been throwing some pretty deep balls lately.

The arm strength thing is somewhat overrated.

A qb who can throw it 35-40 yards with timing, touch, consistency, and accuracy, is better than one who can throw it 50 yards, but doesn't do it consistently, time it right or have good accuracy.

Have to admit until recently, Bryce hasn't shown that he can made good 35-40 yard throws consistently.

Until recently we haven't seen him even throw many 20+ yard passes at all.

And we doubted that he can. We trusted what we saw because that was all he was giving us. It made us believe that what we saw was all there was.

We're seeing potential now we haven't seen since he was drafted. He's growing ever week showing that he's capable of much more.

It may take the rest of this year for him to build into the kind of QB we hoped we were getting when we sold the farm for him. He may not be at the level we were hoping he'd be at by now, but he's getting there, imo.

And the team is going to have to grow with him.

I'm looking forward to seeing him grow more this year and excited about what we can see next year with the growth and confidence he abd this team will have because of what they are seeing in themselves now.

They may not be winning now, but they are learning what they can do and the work they put in now together creates a culture that can win a lot of games.
