If Sanders or Ward were to drop to the Panthers somehow (0.01% chance) then I could see that being the move. Otherwise I don't think they go QB.

Bryce's ceiling is Teddy Bridgewater that has some clutch genes. However, he'll be the starting QB next year. If he sucks, then its Arch Manning time.

Manning won't come here

When did my opinion change?

After the benching he has played well. I think he's proven that he should be our QB next year. I was off the bandwagon before the benching. Now that he's played well he's earned my respect.

We both know you've flip flopped a few times cmon lol.

I will say I respect that he's physically tough given all the talk surrounding his build. But as for him being the future? It's unknown and that is the absolute best any of us can say all homerism aside. I think we need to bring in another QB by round 2 in the upcoming draft and let them compete in camp. If Bryce somehow changes his trajectory we will still have a young QB to develop behind him as insurance. If Bryce doesn't then we have another option to possibly give us hope. That is the only path forward in my eyes. And it is about what is best for the team.

You're right. He doesn't.  But many of us want a QB that elevates the team consistently and the reality is this game is more like Bryce in terms of his overall history than the the last 3

Let's not throw another trade / 1 round at a QB when this roster was decimated to get us out of Rhule / Fitter jail.

Put some more talent around him and reevaluate.

Talking about his build, in one game he got hacked and the dt threw him like 5 yards with one arm. My wife laughed out loud.😂😂

It looked like an adult throwing a toddler across the room😂😂

Lol at thinking the last 5 games were perfect setups - against 3 of top 10 defenses. QB9 played bad today. Let's see if he bounces back.

Actually, only two Philly and KC.  On the flip side, why can't he beat the bad ones more regularly.  I'm shocked the Giants aren't winless and the Saints have fallen into the abyss.   Wins, yes, but hardly anything to boast about.

I think it’s a perfectly reasonable to see Bryce played better since coming back to at least show why he was drafted #1 and to warrant another year. The eyeball test, the big time throws, the pocket movement, everything that was said over the offseason of “what do we need to see from him to give him another shot”

But you had people claiming “he is him” to now saying he isn't the future. I like Bryce and think he has promise, but he’s neither of those things, yet.

It’s okay to have a little nuance, healthy even. Step away from the ledge

Y'all are weird.

Game to game your opinions change. Bryce will be the QB. Get ready for Tmac in the draft.

Also XL your time is up. Take your meme ass back to SC. Coker is legit.

Bryce Up Son!

Seriously. These clowns are Beyond fickle. I just jumped on the BY bandwagon and I’m not gonna jump right back off

    • So funny see people continue to talk like Darnold isn’t one of the best QBs in the NFL for the second season in a row. Two different teams and situations, he is for real and not just a product of the system.   He struggles under pressure lol what QB doesn’t? Did anyone watch Mahomes in the SB?
    • While I was aware that Horn does not shadow WR1 I learned something interesting in the game from one of the announcers ... Horn ALWAYS plays the short side of the field.  As in, he will switch sides when the ball moves from one hash tag to the other. It seems intuitive that short side of field equals easier route coverage (correct me if I'm wrong) and expanding further I wonder if Mike Jackson was put into that role would his stats improve? If Horn is such a shut down corner, why isn't he just following the biggest WR threat around the field? Is there something inherently harder about covering the short side of the field?  Why make life easier for your best CB?
    • I wonder what the true state of Chuba's calf is? I remember it being mentioned a couple of times last year that it was something they were managing then after the Cardinals game last year we put him on IR. He then reinjured it this year. That would seem to explain why he looks slower and less explosive than in years past. Chubas running style was a one cut explode through the hole type of back and it just doesn't look like he has that ability right now.
