Bryce Young May Be The Answer

that might be the best perspective to have, I guess. Next season's going to be extremely important for him and the Panthers.

I'm encouraged the offense is showing us something this season even with inferior talent maybe minus Chubba Hubbard and Robert Hunt. We played up to contending with the Chiefs, Bucs, and Eagles with a gargantuan talent disparity and a defense that cant stop the run to save their lives.

Fixing the defense would totally change how this team looks

I'm thinking one legit playmaker wide receiver, and fix some holes in the defense. Then this team could be competitive.

Could be competitive, not would...

He has earned the right to be in our QB room next year with hopefully an even better roster. I’m also all for signing someone like Fields or drafting a mid round guy for depth/competition. Young has shown some growth in his development and hopefully that will continue. A plan B would do nothing but help us as well.

I don't think he'll ever be worth what we gave up for him, but that's not his fault. He really has one proven wide receiver, and for the most part he's doing what is being asked of him.

Would love to see these young receivers develop, add another one, and see how he continues to develop. We have to develop the rest of the roster. I wouldn't mind seeing some competition for Bryce in camp next year, but don't want to spend draft capital on it. We have so many other needs.

Let him have some real weapons first.

Hubbard and Thielen aren't?  I still can't wrap my head around the idea of propping up an average QB instead of getting an elite QB.

You do know Bryce isn't going to be on his rookie deal forever, correct?  So when we build this team up around him and then he wants a big payday, we immediately have to start making sacrifices elsewhere.

I've said this already, if we Daniel Jones or even Kyler Murray this team in another two years, I may have to walk away for good.  The insane level of stupidity will finally have done me in with this organization.

Everything has to be elite before we can grade Bryce

    • I did get some coin in on the Knicks to win the whole thing at +3300 immediately after they won game two and before their odds made a huge shift so I'm not mad at this news. I don't expect them to win but I'll probably be able to cash for a good amount if they make the finals.
    • Horn and T-Mac will get matched up a lot, but it won't be 100% of the time, nor should it be anything close to that. Yes, it would benefit T-Mac's ability to get better at beating the press, but it would also be a detriment both of them for them to be matched up too much more than 50% of their reps. Neither is likely to end up going up against similar players in games, not many teams have WRs the size of T-Mac and not many teams have CB's with the physicality of Horn.  Horn needs to work on covering smaller shiftier WRs as well, just as T-Mac needs plenty of reps against smaller CBs so he can work on using his frame to body them out of position.
    • Tatum tore his Achilles it looks like. At least watching the injury that's what it seems to be. He's probably out all next year and Boston sucks and gets a lottery pick. :insert eye roll here:
