lol people making threads about not getting over the hump with Bryce.

he isn’t the problem folks.

Maybe the problem is honestly that we've been bad so long people have lost perspective.

Bryce (and Theilen) have been the only bright spots today.

Our defense is so terrible because they don’t perform the basics. If you watch the majority of our guys stand there waiting for the ball carrier to come to them instead of running downhill to the ball carrier and making the tackle. That’s what allows them to change direction and run away from the tackler so easy or they always get knocked back by the ball carrier because he has all the momentum.

He’s my most disappointing player, I was pumped when he got drafted. He has just regressed and I don’t know if he can be fixed.

Yeah I’m really disappointed. I thought he would show some strides to negate the slippage we saw but he has just continued to regress and this is besides strong interior play.  And Njiman has performed badly too. Can’t rely on swing linemen like BC either.

LT is a need that could align in R1-3. Or maybe we identify a vet this offseason.

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
