We traded another pretty good one away for some seconds lol. We could have had duren and Williams but why would we want two good centers when we can have 2nd round picks

The Hornets now have 6 first round picks in the next 3 drafts. Most of them have very little protection as well.

True but the hit rate in Hornets history has been pathetic especially the Bobcat/post Bobcat years. Mark showed signs of being a piece to franchise success but can’t stay healthy. Melo stats hurt to. Miller out. Should change the name to the Charlotte Red Cross.

Eh, Williams played less than half the games over his time here. Maybe they know his back won't ever allow him to play a full season and decided to sell high. Also, since Lee seems intent on his offense being just jacking up 3s, maybe he decided Williams didn't fit the mold of what he wanted in a center since Williams can't shoot 3s.

As for Martin, people always complained about him being a waste of a roster spot.

I’m hearing, apparently the trade was rescinded between the Lakers and Hornets. Not sure why as of yet, but Mark Williams is a hornet again Knecht and Reddish are back in LA
