A lot of their grades are very strange.  I do have to say though that there are a lot of worlds where if you throw positional value out the windows, Warren may be the best player available when we are on the clock.

It’s crazy to think that most mocks I have seen have jeanty going late first or later but watching his highlights he looks like one of the best players in the draft, very AP-like. If we didn’t have chuba I’d be firmly on the jeanty train.

So only 7 day 1 starter grades (6.5 or above). I find that hard to believe

I don't. I've looked at the top 50 players in this class and I struggled to see 10 that could start day 1. No qb's can start day 1 from this class. It doesn't mean they won't start as teams are desperate, we are 1 of them. But starting a defensive player too early is not nearly as bad as starting a qb too early.

Unfortunately for Jeanty, RB just isn't valued anymore in the NFL. 20+ years ago, this dude probably goes top 5

What the hell is wrong with school ball now?

I'm hoping for a DT or a trade back. Trade back might be for the best if they can rack up more 2nds and 3rds. There is bearly any difference between the end of the 1st and the end of the 3rd so far lol.

Also the grading system is hilarious. It's the NFL projecting their views on talent but then it goes from perfect to average backup in the first 2 points and then there are 6 points of sub roster material lol.

    • Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 (💯) while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American.  Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that.  That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.
    • Ive said it 1000x times on here.  Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games.  poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe.  Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
    • I basically made almost the exact predictions on a phone call with a buddy about 3 weeks ago. I really do expect Evero gone before the seasons end, Young to just not able to get over the hump enough and DC to head into next season on a VERY hot seat.
