Ranked 63rd in pressures, with 30 for the season. Seems to be solid in defending the run but we need pressure from our OLB.

Is he better than our current guys? I'd say so. If so, it's worth a conversation at least.

I hate to break it to some of y'all but we're not going to assemble a dynasty this off-season that takes the league by storm this coming season.

Compared to the other options available, is there THAT much difference between him and Sweat?  Sweat benefited from a STOUT defensive line.  If we could trade Clowney I would like a combo of Wonnom/Landary and mid round draft picks along with an improved Dline.

Even if we cut Clowney that frees up nearly 8 million.  I'm sure we could get a 5th/6th for JC in a trade.

Would rather have a few really good players than many mids.  Agree that we aren’t fixing all our needs in 1 offseason.  Get like 3 really good starters and it’s a win

what is great about this draft is having 2 4ths and 3 5ths.  Even with us so devoid of talent, we'd be extremely lucky to find a starter with one of those picks but Canales can get a bunch of his guys on the team and start building a culture.   We should have some really good depth over the next 4 years, particularly in years 3 and 4.  With 5 picks in 4 and 5, we can lay the framework.  I'm feeling good if we draft well.

Landry would be an upgrade over everyone we have right now. I'd still want to draft a guy.  Maybe another BC edge linebacker.  Also how yall feel bout bringing in another surprise release Johnathon Allen?  Allen and Landry could be a move.

Allen is 30 and had a down year--roughly identical to Robinson.  With DT in this draft, I think teams are shedding their meh DTs in an attempt to save $$ and upgrade.  I hear teams are LOVING the DT market. We have Brown and Robinson.  I would probably draft a NT and DE.

I have always liked Landry.

Does this mean the Titans are taking Carter?  I think so.  It could mean that they will take him first OR they are confident that they can move back to #3 (Giants) and still get Carter--Giants get Ward.  Cleveland gets screwed.  If the Browns trade Garrett, then the Browns could take Carter, screwing up the Giants' plan.  I would not be surprised to see the Titans and Giants making a trade before the draft.  If I am Schoen, that is what I do, even if I sign Rodgers.  Tennessee does not seem to be too excited about either QB, but if they make this trade and Cleveland takes Carter, they could get a QB  (Sanders) AND a second rounder, perhaps another Boston College Edge.

I mean, that team and organization is depleted of talent and kind of headed towards the bottom. But I think the dud has some skills.  Head coach in college, with NFL cred too. Tough situation he is taking on.    And I hate to say, Atlanta.  Stefanski might be unleashed lol. Still has a QB deficit though. He’ll get a ton of owner support I think. Blank badly wants Matt Ryan to succeed.    I was cold on Tennessee but they are requiring Saleh to hire an experienced OC and they have some pieces on defense. It might be a little better than I expected at first. Won’t be great anytime soon though.     Harbaugh is proven and a lot of the NFC East is pretty shaky.    I think Baltimore could have fuged up. They apparently are allowing their QB to rule the roost and that ia really a suspect strategy.  OTOH that QB is very potent on the field and could make a mediocre coach look decent.     I am close to there on Buffalo, as far as did they fug up. I am not real optimistic for them, but could be totally wrong.    Pittsburg is the most interesting because of their incredible hiring success. One of these times it ain’t gonna work out so smooth for them. I mean they are kind of due. Will it be this time?     Arizona? Graveyard.  Las Vegas? Probably the same thing. But they might resurrect NE mojo in the desert. I guess it could happen.
