I figured he must've lit them up back in '22 when he had over 1200 yards and 11 TDs. Nope. A combined 39 carries for 136 yards for a 3.5ypc average and 0 TDs in his two games against Dallas.

Dont be surprised if this happens, in fact, I REAAALLLY think it will happen.  If Jeanty is there at 8 (high probability IMO that he is) then I think Cowboys will get aggressive to move up and get him.  Not only is he the best RB in the class, considered the best RB in the draft and according to NFL.com is the single highest graded prospect, but on top of that he's from the Dallas metro, so on top of best RB, Jerry would also sell a ton of jerseys.  Last point, Ive noticed over the years, certain GMs feel comfortable trading and working with certain other GMs and organizations, and considering Morgan made a trade of mingo last year with the cowboys tells me theres atleast a line of communication between the orgs.

The Cowboys do have a history of being willing to trade up in the past.  They moved up four spots to get Emmit Smith and traded up to get Morris Claiborne.  So it wouldn't be shocking.

At least we didn't do this as a trade.  We'd have thrown in a 3rd rounder.
