What was more embarrassing, when he sacked himself or the pitiful INT staring right at the defender?

I'll say both.  We've got nothing behind Bryce Young, folks.

Agreed.

Andy is Bryce's emotional support dawg.

If Bryce really comes into his own this season dalton will be gone next year

We do probably need to look to waivers for someone developmental or a more reliable vet for a true back up.

Even if Bryce was solidified don’t we want to have a capable backup that gives us a realistic chance to win?  Like we had Derek Anderson when Cam got hurt in 2014.  Ideally I would want a younger QB who can also push Bryce to keep getting better.

Bryce has as much to prove this upcoming season as anyone else in the league.

"What back up QB will best give us a chance to win?" is actually insane.

Man it's comical how many keystrokes you waste here talking about others arguing in bad faith and there are literally no lengths you won't go to in order to cape for Bryce Young. He has a mother and father okay?

This is about what is best for the development of the young players. Having a younger QB or even a younger vet with some upside in the event of unforseen circumstances so we do not waste another crucial season of development of said young players should not be a foreign or controversial concept here.

Also just for informational and clarification purposes the 9 highest backup QB salaries for 2025 are as follows:

Marcus Mariota 8 million

Jacoby Brisset 6.25 million

Jarrett Stidham 6 million

Tyrod Taylor 6 million

Zach Wilson 6 million

Davis Mills 5 million

Joe Flacco 4.25 million

Mac Jones 4.2 million

Andy Dalton 4 million

I'm a believer in Bryce.   He does still need to prove himself in a 17 game season.  I look forward to it, however, having Andy Dalton behind you who is apparently not even putting in a shift anymore in offseason training is a disservice to the organization and the fans.

That's a very verbose way of saying that you only care about Dalton because you spent the entirety of the previous offseason shitting on Bryce and anybody that dared to think he could still be QB1 for the Panthers.

Which of the current 32 QB2s are a service to the organization and fans?

I gladly complimented Bryce for the touchdown drive yesterday. When he plays well and especially when he continues to play well that complimenting will continue. If he doesn't then I will call it like I see it and it's the same for anyone else.

Honestly between the two of us I would be thrilled for him to go on and become our franchise QB as I've said all along. But idk man you are so invested in this I kinda worry for your well being if he doesn’t. You have an unhealthy infatuation bud.

Depends on the rest of the question.

What back up QB gives us the best chance to win, if the starter goes out for a few games?  That is a perfectly legitimate question.  And if we get to the point where we are a consistent playoff contender, its a question we will need to ask/answer.
