Coker is easily our WR2

Just think it’s hard for our staff to stomach the fact a UDFA WR is better than the first round receiver they took the same year

I mean, you could be right, but you're claiming this when he's playing against twos and threes in against a squad that didn't have the best defense last year anyway. It would mean more if he was torching a highly touted first rate pass defense and even playing top-rated corners.

60 yard td drive against carolina panthers 3rd stringers.

Yep HOF

You’re Lol’ing but he was available u til the 5th round.  He has still not thrown a pick in camp or through his first start in preseason as a rookie.  He also just threw 2 TDs, extended plays, and displayed some elite anticipation and ball placement.

We traded a treasure trove of picks and assets to move up and take Bryce, who struggled for a season and a half before finally showing any semblance of being a quality starter, and that is still to be determined.

just saying, SS looks ahead of the curve and was available to every team for 4 whole rounds.

I really really wish this FO had prioritized bringing in a younger vet. Even if you're afraid to make Bryce Young uncomfortable you have to make a better attempt than this at a QB room. Especially after last year.

That is the main reason why there isn't a young vet here.

And people are really complaining that Dalton isnt good enough but at the same time they don't want anybody younger with potential that could possibly challenge Bryce and his confidence.

This is the wack job thinking that goes on.

Let's just call it what it is. Not the way you build a new culture. You build a new culture based on merit and earning roles. You don't build a culture by giving aging vets 8 million dollars just because they're friends with somebody.

Dalton is actually the perfect backup, imo.  He and Bryce have a great relationship.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
