I'll say it - underthrown. Easy uncontested TD in the back corner but instead Legette had to slow up and make a great play to get it.

I'll also say that it's a single throw in a random practice and I have paid absolutely zero attention to anything Panthers related in the past several months so my comment on this play is just that - a comment on this play and this play only. For all I know that might have been the worst throw of camp and whoever threw it (I assume Bryce) has looked like the second coming of whatever QB one may feel is the greatest of all time with every other throw.

Huh?!

You seriously have to watch more than Carolina games. QBs throw the ball to a spot where the WR can make a play and the DB can't. That's really it. Fitting a 40 yards throw into a 1 yard box is not as easy as they make it look - sometimes.

Giants-Jets apparently got chippy too after Tyrone Tracy Jr got thrown down. Punches thrown and everything.

This time of year always has me on edge due to possible injuries. Sure, they're playing hurt by the end of the season regardless but this is the time of year when you see some guys just go  down bad (ex: ACL, Achilles, etc) or get stuck with an ailment that plagues them the entire seson (ex: hamstring, turf toe, etc)

Especially rooting for a team with no depth

If Hunter is healthy its a no Brainer in my book, Healthy he might be in the conversation for best slot WR in the NFL.

I think he converts a lot of third downs for us this year.

This is what my come back player of the year wager wants to hear!! Y'all can still all hop on this at +10,000

I like Horn, said it when we drafted him.  But I think people are too optimistic about his short term potential.  6th round WR for a reason.   Colorado offense was super quirky.  Got to think he is a project to develop.  He wasn't doing much there but playing pass downs on a very spread out O (that's not really NFL conditions).

all that said, I'm not a Moore fan at all.  I want Horn over him.  AT and Renfrow got the experience to handle that WR room.

I think horn makes it just because they won't want to take the chance on putting him on PS and him getting picked up.

    • Yeah one big factor has been he is surprisingly quite durable. But the reality of that aspect is much of it boils down to plain dumb luck more often than not. Big guys get hurt smaller guys get hurt it happens across the league to anyone to varying degrees. The issue is we are staring down the barrel of a possible top 10 QB salary and Bryce Young is one of the least physically gifted starters in the league. That is not a shot at him it is simply a rational acknowledgment of circumstances. There is a legitimate question to be asked if his window as a starter in this league is smaller as a result because what is going to happen when those hits that he has previously popped right back up from with a smile on his face begin to accumulate as they do for every player that has been in this league? These are just things to consider.
    • This game is a must-win for both teams I feel. For the Canes, you don’t want to go back to Vegas and put them in front of their home crowd with a chance to close out the series. For Vegas, if you drop this game your only chance is to win 2 straight and similarly have to contend with an energized Canes home crowd if you get to a game 7.
