Are these preseason game stats that you're quoting?  If so, you've said enough.  Also Canales isn't even calling plays in the preseason, and you dont gameplan, watch tape at all, and try to be as vanilla as possible to not show anything for preseason games... please tell me you're not talking about preseason game statistics and these are from something else.

He didn’t want to come here, unfortunately. I actually like Canales as a head coach. I think his skills as a play caller/designer have always been overblown. I think he could be a great head coach though if he got better coordinators and gave up control of the playbook/playcalling. Idzik ain’t it, but we kind of always knew that. Unfortunately, really good OCs get hired as HCs really quickly in today’s NFL so it is hard to sustain.

I think with him getting aggressive with his players like he saw Dan Campbell do in Detroit means that there's a little extra pressure on Ben Johnson to prove that his offense can do what analysts were forecasting it can. Otherwise, he's going to be screaming at men who are much larger than him that won't care to listen.

Wouldn't surprise me to see the Bears light it up this season offensively, but take a step back in year two with all of the tape gifted to the league.
