I think after the Bengals OL imploded tonight, we are going to get Hendrickson on a deal for Zavala, Mays, or Christensen and a couple of non 1st round picks.

You are out of your tree if you think any of that is happening.

How do backup OL and non-1st rounders help them?

I am not understand how so many here think the Bengals are going to make Panthers bad trades when they literally don't have to do anything.

I mean, for a late round pick it's fine but he's not very good. I don't know what he'd really bring to the table, TBH. If Evero didn't really have a spot for Jeremy Chinn (who I maintain has always been massively overrated by the Huddle) I don't see why he'd have a spot for Duggar.

We also saw how bad their defense was as the Washington starters ran all over them

They are either going to pay him or trade him.

They are not going to get their asking price, teams rarely do. They need a lot of help on OL and Defense. That help is better than not getting anything for Hendrickson and having it as a distraction.

I highly doubt they trade him anywhere in the conference, especially within the division.

Right now, Carolina is 2nd in betting odds right behind him staying in Cincinnati.

You are missing that they literally don't have to trade him. He is under contract and they can franchise tag him for two years if they so desire.

Why do you think the sports books have the odds heavily weighted towards being a Bengal? Any of this seem familiar? Maybe.....Tee Higgins?

The fact that they are leaking this unreasonable ask is basically telegraphing that they don't really plan to get rid of him unless someone is stupid enough to meet their ask price.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
