Renfrow released

Renfrow is dealing with injury issues, coming back from a devastating issue with his health, and directly caused an interception in the preseason. This affinity for certain players and dislike for others is what fandom is about, but you all definitely ride harder for some than others. Also, cut out the XL stray bullets. The kid was a rookie and didn't have problems with drops in college. Devante Adams had the same issues as a rookie and became dynamic. Give it a rest!

A couple of these guys might take exception to that, but yea, I get what you’re saying.

Love Moose, but looking back at his career he broke 1000 receiving yards 3/14 times including one insane year in 2004 where he had 16 TDs.  Those other 11 years were decent, but the fact he is one of our top WRs in franchise history shows how we really struggle at drafting/developing them.

Moose was also a victim of time as well. His first season was 1996. We went through multiple QB's before getting to Jake Delhomme and by that point Moose was 30 and he was also playing opposite Steve Smith who was commanding the ball. He took the money with the Bears and honestly considering the QB's they had up there he put up respectable numbers. He eventually made his way back to Carolina and still put up good numbers at 35 years old. But it's fair to wonder if he had been in Carolina the whole time with consistent quality QB play if he would have had even more 1,000 yard seasons. But we'll never know.

Just goes to show, any pre season feel-good puff-piece, 9 outta 10 times is some fuggin bullshite

Horn fooled me with his "NO ONE, I mean no one could cover him"

Why release that talent, even if he's working towards NFL shape.

He better be on PS or riot!!!111!!!!

Those guys were great, especially Smith.  Smith especially excelled at catching the ball and controlling his body at the same time (I remember a toe tapping sideline catch against the Bears that was just amazing), or getting open and burning the defender.  I just think that in terms of just coming down with the ball, Thielen is probably the best I have seen in a Panthers uniform.  If Tmac and Coker can continue to improve, Thielen then I imagine Thielen will get weaker coverage against him, and it will help him even more.  Might get fewer catches, but more YPC.

All the stuff about Horn being uncoverable were from the practices without pads.  That said, I still think he could develop in to a player over time.

lol nah.  Some gymnastics here to do the standard Panthers have to be right……and that almost always goes wrong.

it’s not a devastating health issue….when you get diagnosed and figure out what is wrong….and now feel good.

Hunter Renfrow was not running a slant. They threw a slant.  That was the INT.  Renfrow was clearly setting up his cut.  Clear body language of that pick shows him setting it up.

Renfrow is better than Moore.  Renfrow also does something no one else on this roster does….which this team lacks.   It’s standard Panthers being the Panthers.  Making easy hard

    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
    • Dan's been talking about upgrading CB since beginning of free agency
    • I'm more of a Hornets fan than I am a Panthers fan, I've watched a ton of this franchise the last 20 years. I post all day on RealGM. Don't get your hopes up, this is setting us up for a 20 point loss to the Heat and a swift end to the season. Spoelstra has always solved us, the Heat have two bigs that we have no answers for, and Jaquez is a certified Hornets killer that always plays us like he has a grudge on us. The Hornets being a top 10 team all year and a top 5 team the last half of the year and then flat out missing the playoffs is incredibly on brand for this crappy, horrendous franchise. I would love to be proven wrong. But I've suffered enough to know this little scheme the team is pulling. We finished 2 games out of 6th and guaranteed playoffs, and we blew two games to the Pacers and Nets earlier in the season, when they weren't trying to win. It's just who we are, Hornets DNA
