There was one post pooed in this entire thread and you seemed to be having trouble connecting the dots. Just trying to help out.

Speaking of connecting the dots. In actuality the poo function itself used to be only merely symbolic. It was changed to reflect neg rep as a counter measure for truly egregious posts spammers and rude rival fans. But there are unfortunately a few people who use it solely for personal retribution on a fairly regular basis now. If that sounds like an unhealthy toxic personality that's because it is. Glad I could help you connect those dots.

Everybody can speak for themselves, but my guess is you got poo’ed for immediately reverting to the “Do you work for the Tepper’s” comment in an otherwise normal discussion.

I've got him on ignore, but if I happen to see his histrionics being quoted and see the usual personal attacks I go and give it the poo it deserves. 😛

If it bothers him that much he could try being less unpleasant, or put me on ignore as a mod requested. At the very least, he could stop insulting others just because he's not capable of understanding and accepting any scenario other than the one he feels validates him.

Rhule-wise... Teddy tried to warn us. People wanted to hate him because he wasn't Cam though.

Mike Davis, in the same episode, was highly complimentary of how former players are treated by the team. That was cool to hear.

And of course I had to poo this. It’s an online message board. It ain’t that deep, it’s supposed to be fun. We’re supposed to banter, we’re supposed to have nemeses. And when it comes to petty misguided radicals like yourself I’ll poo you every time and buy you a drink in person.

People also were just bending over their backs to defend everything about Matt Rhule.   I think the lack of reporting/eyeballs because of COVID made that defense possible because there was really no way to know what was going on in house then given how limited things were.

I think going into that next season when camps were back open to the reporters, with Teddy's messaging in my mind, it was pretty glaring how in over his head Matt Rhule was if you wanted to see it.  For awhile it was always some else's fault.  Teddy was the idiot.  Then it was Joe Brady.   Took folks longer than it should of to be like.....oh wait, it's the head guy running the show that doesn't know what he is doing.

I also don't think Matt Rhule is the villain some want him to be.  I think generally speaking, most of Rhule's players liked him as a human.  He just had no clue how to do the NFL thing.   Tepper just can't get it right.  Rhule was the HC that needed Jim Caldwell/Capers.   Then he gave that to the HC that didn't need it in Frank.  But I do think through all the hires and fires, you can see evidence of Tepper trying to get the puzzle.

i was real lols when Mike said "that was selfish."  Looks like it wasn't CMC's fault though.

Those seasons, our offensive wasn't as good as it could have been because every play was basically, "give the ball to CMC"

While CMC did perform well in that circumstance, he could have been so much better if giving him the ball wasn't 80% of our play calls

Sounds like mental illness to me.

Hope it gets better for you bud.

    • overall agree on the draft grade as a whole on on each pick, but every time I read (and I have read it more than once) that we "gave up two firsts" for Bryce, I am confused. We gave up the 2024 first, but we swapped 2023 firsts, so we didn't give up anything there. We did give up our former first rounder in DJ, but I don't think thats what you mean as one of the "firsts" we gave up.
    • Didn't  see this posted (since 2023) but since folks have been posting that you can't judge a draft class for three years (a ridiculous take), I thought I'd post this to see what people thought about the 2023 draft. Unfortunately this may not be the most interesting class to do this with but I do quite like retrospective draft grades. Would appreciate other's takes on this (and other recent) draft classes.   1(1) - Bryce Young QB: I am a bigger Bryce Young apologist than most (maybe all). I like the kid. But there is no way around it: This was a terrible pick. If he had been picked in the 4th or even the 3rd round I would feel pretty good about it. But this was the first overall pick that we gave up two firsts, our best offensive player to get.  GRADE: C -    2(39) - Jonathan Mingo WR: not much to say here here. He was here for two years. His yards per catch are on par with Bryce's yards per pass. Rough stuff. To date he has still never scored a touchdown in the NFL GRADE: F   3(80) - DJ Johnson OLB: a pick I hated as soon as it happened and an example of why the premise of this thread is honestly dumb. This was a bad pick when it happened. Most people knew it.  Then came training camp and he did not look good. Then came the preseason which confirmed what we saw in TC. Then came the season which confirmed what we saw in preseason. To date, he has half a sack in his career. GRADE: F 4 (114) Chandlers Zavala G: Honestly the best pick of this draft which really speaks to how awful this draft is. Other than Bryce, the only pick still on the team. He is mostly average or below average depth which in round 4 is not terrible. But he had a pff score of 43.5 and though I think people have unrealistic expectations for draft picks, I still would want a little more from a fourth round pick GRADE: C+   5 (145) - Jammie Robinson S: I liked the pick when it happened but ended up being a disappointment. He logged 1 tackle with the falcons last year and not enough snaps to get a grade on PFF.  GRADE: F OVERALL DRAFT GRADE: F
