Don't disagree but if we were determined to go with a RB, Corum was close in pre draft ranking to Brooks.

Yeah the Wilson ACL thing is and was a wild situation that is ultimately not an issue but we apparently didn't have the right intel to clear him.

We've tried to get too fancy when we clearly lack talent all around. Stop worrying about RAS scores and elite athleticism and just draft guys that can play. We've wasted picks on raw prospects with potential instead of drafting IOL, then paying guys on the inside instead of spending it on defense where it was necessary. Chinn goes to another system and does really well and Evero couldnt even figure out how to get him on the field, and when he was he was out of position so it made him play like ass. We just seem to do the most ass backwards things over and over again. FFS, this really cant be that difficult can it?

Tepper makes the wrong decision in literally every case. It's laughable at this point. It is as hard as getting every single decision right. Give me one example of one thing he's got correct in 8 fuging years. It's no surprise that promoting the assistant GM that worked for the worst GM that I've ever seen was a mistake. This goes all the way back to insisting that Ron run a 3-4 and the defense goes to complete poo and we suck. That decision in my opinion cost us 3 or 4 more seasons of the greatest middle linebacker to ever do it.

Since Tepper bought the team we've made 43 draft selections before this last draft. Of those 43 only 11 I would consider guys that should be on NFL rosters, not even starters but should be on teams period. Of those 11 only 4 are good to above average NFL players.

Brian Burns correcting me if I'm wrong but hurney pick

Hubbard picked by Matt rhules wife

Derrick Brown this was Hurneys last first round pick right?

Jaycee Horn - the one pick fitterer/Morgan made that looks like a pro bowl player. Problem is they picked him right in front of first team all pro at the same position.

    • Nussmeier shows all the qualities, but has a really bad game here and there. Sellers is raw, we will see how things play out.
    • Wait......CRA is now playing UP our receivers?
    • Well let's be realistic here. He could have taken one look at Bryce Young on tape and known what he was getting. As JackieLee stated his work with QB's like Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield is a big contributing factor in why he was hired. At the same time we also have to recognize other factors. Seemingly and realistically he was the only one seriously considering the job. And as far as "fixing" Bryce Young goes one entire staff has already gotten the axe over him. Frank Reich was vilified as possibly the worst head coaching hire ever. 2 years later the more we see of Bryce the more it looks like he was the problem. Right now we are at a true crossroads. We cannot just play out the season with Young and be a serious franchise. We have to try and see what we have in the young roster and firmly get some sort of look at Canales offense. At this point Dave Canales needs to earn the right to draft his own QB. So far he has developed bupkis at the most important position. And he and Dan Morgan made the decision to not give Bryce Young one iota of competition for the third year in a row. He cannot claim the cupboards are bare beyond his control.
