Don't disagree but if we were determined to go with a RB, Corum was close in pre draft ranking to Brooks.

Yeah the Wilson ACL thing is and was a wild situation that is ultimately not an issue but we apparently didn't have the right intel to clear him.

We've tried to get too fancy when we clearly lack talent all around. Stop worrying about RAS scores and elite athleticism and just draft guys that can play. We've wasted picks on raw prospects with potential instead of drafting IOL, then paying guys on the inside instead of spending it on defense where it was necessary. Chinn goes to another system and does really well and Evero couldnt even figure out how to get him on the field, and when he was he was out of position so it made him play like ass. We just seem to do the most ass backwards things over and over again. FFS, this really cant be that difficult can it?

Tepper makes the wrong decision in literally every case. It's laughable at this point. It is as hard as getting every single decision right. Give me one example of one thing he's got correct in 8 fuging years. It's no surprise that promoting the assistant GM that worked for the worst GM that I've ever seen was a mistake. This goes all the way back to insisting that Ron run a 3-4 and the defense goes to complete poo and we suck. That decision in my opinion cost us 3 or 4 more seasons of the greatest middle linebacker to ever do it.

Since Tepper bought the team we've made 43 draft selections before this last draft. Of those 43 only 11 I would consider guys that should be on NFL rosters, not even starters but should be on teams period. Of those 11 only 4 are good to above average NFL players.

Brian Burns correcting me if I'm wrong but hurney pick

Hubbard picked by Matt rhules wife

Derrick Brown this was Hurneys last first round pick right?

Jaycee Horn - the one pick fitterer/Morgan made that looks like a pro bowl player. Problem is they picked him right in front of first team all pro at the same position.

Or the franchise LT that we wouldn't even consider because his arms were an inch to short. After all, who needs a franchise left tackle when you have THE Greg Little watching your backside.

To get into the NFL, you generally need one of two things to happen.

Family inside door

Be invited to intern as a scout for a team or the scouting intern combine "yes this exists". Usually a dozen intern spots available each year combined.

Once in the door, you generally don't leave and just move teams. Most people aren't fired and never back on a team.

Take the Panthers director for example and he had a family in with the NFL with his father being a former WR coach.

He went from College football to scouting intern for the Texans 2008-2009 and then Tampa from 2010-2012, Jacksonville from 2013-2020 and Joined Carolina in 2021 and has been promoted twice now.

Yeah, I don't buy that we can't do better. That's an atrocious resume based on those teams' performances during those stretches too. Yikes.

The team sucks right now because Fitterrer had the worst run of any NFL GM since 2000. Dan at least identified Coker, Hunt and Lewis, all three are solid starters. Jury is still out on FA class, you can't tell anything off a terrible week 1 game (just like last year). XL has about 3 games to turn it around or he will be replaced, but he was exceptionally lazy on Sunday which is inexcusable, as was Princely. But I'm not making excuses for Dan, its been as bad since he took over. Team is unprepared and Wallace and Scott were so bad they brought the entire defense down, and that's on Dan for not trying to upgrade those positions. I mean Peppers was a FA until yesterday and he's better than Scott in every single metric. We had the money. It tells me they weren't really caring about winning this season, just like the Hornets when they do this same bullshit
