Let’s remember that all of these QBs will have an additional 10 games or so played by the end of the season. So a lot of room for further development and growth. There is a lot of potential in this group imo.

...also time for names to be added to the list and names removed.

Too early to make quality evaluations. I still think that doing the evaluations week by week vs big picture at the end tends to have wild swings in opinions.

I'm fine with a guy that can sit...if he is worth the time.

Big upside guys needing work depends on who is around next year for me and what makes them projects. Mental projects are a tough sell. Young and Mac Jones types are a hard pass. The NFL isn't school.

Only spend 1 pick regardless. Don't trade up to the first pick.

That's my WIP list

Yeah, I'd rather trade for Dak. Does anyone seriously think any of those guys will be a franchise QB for the Panthers. There's like a 10% chance. At best it'd be a repeat of the Bridgewater or the Darnold Panthers and then we will look to change the QB position again in 4 years. Only one of those guys will be a franchise QB and everyone knows Tepper won't luck out and select the right one

It wouldn't be worse than what we have....so what do we have to lose?

Not getting the defensive stud we so sorely need, there’s some good ones in this upcoming draft. Jayden Daniels is an extreme outlier with the way QBs are busting left and right lately. I have no faith in this FO drafting a QB.

So are great defensive players. Our D is awful but our O is worse. Sucks because of how much draft capital on that side of the ball.

    • Another thread where the Huddle melts down over a Bryce comment.  "Conversations" and "Bryce Young has been signed to a new long-term contract" are still far away from being the gospel.  For a fanbase that has watched two top-3 drafted QBs come here, and us move on, only to see them elevate their play elsewhere, I find it comical. Bryce is flawed but this org is damned if you do and damned if you don't with BY9.  Why would our GM and HC say anything other than supportive about their QB1. Yes, he's extended, but I truly do not think if he goes out and has a repeat of the previous seasons, that he is here beyond 2027. They're giving him every opportunity and surrounding him with a ridiculous amount of assets on both sides of the ball. If he continues to pitch 110 yd/ game and cough up the ball while everyone else is busting their ass, no way Dan keeps him beyond the extension.
    • Ooof, I was not a Proctor fan. I agree w/ a lot of smarter folks than me that he's more of a guard and think his weight fluctuation is going to be something to navigate. I liked Lomu a lot, but figured there would be more talented guys there at 19. I also wasn't big on bringing in a TE via the draft. If it's not a vet (Njoku) or a trade for Mayer or Kmet, I'd just as soon see what the youngsters have. No need cluttering the room with more of the same.
    • Sam Darnold & Bryce Young are two very different Qbs ..just saying the last 25 years approximately 2/3 of ALL  first round Qb's  in the NFL were or are bust.so for everyone who makes it like a Sam Darnold you have two that don't make it or are a bust
