And that’s what drives me crazy about him. He looks like crap most games then he looks like a #1 pick on some games. He is never consistent

Some of these throws he had a guy right in his face, I have no clue how he’s even seeing these WR. I swear Bryce has some sixth sense sometimes

Its not just that, IMO, its because we werent running up tempo.  Us not running up tempo is basically wasting what he is good at.  If Bryce doesnt have to run to the line and try to "process" everything presnap, he is reacting to feel, he can be a not-god awful QB.

We still haven’t been running much tempo. Still a lack of urgency.

Why would you go for 2? The math ain't mathing

Maybe he's trying to build as much confidence in BY in himself as possible?

I don't know.

I do know that BY is making good throws the last couple drives, into tight windows. It's garbage time, though. He needs to do this at the start of games...

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
