Drafting projects in the first round or two is incredibly risky. Especially when you already stink as a team, those guys need to be day 1 contributors.

Took over DeJean, Ladd, Mikey, & Frazier. It’s usually silly to complain in retrospect but this time it’s totally justifiable. Everyone recognized the reach. It was absurd.

He’s an example of not letting your vision for how you think everyone’s vibes should be supersede what’s on the damn field.

I think he needs to learn how to return punts and kicks. Maybe consider a change to RB.

Although it would be terrifying watching him field punts with the game on the line.

And if you're gonna draft a project, draft a young one not a guy who's already as old on draft day as a lot of second and even third year pros.

If he's gonna last in the league it's probably as a gadget player. The problem is that he hasn't shown much of anything with the ball in his hands either.

Panthers scouts should have a rule where they CAN'T scout anyone from NC or SC unless they are getting national hype. Had XL not gone to SC we'd never have drafted him. #jrreid
