Five wins this season.........maybe?

The Saints won’t be a pushover.  At this point I don’t see us beating them and I don’t see us getting 5 wins, maybe 3?  Pats are looking better on offense, Hill got going yesterday for Miami and there is no chance in hell we stop De’Von.  As for ATL between their D And BR I don’t see us beating them either.  Heck I don’t see us beating anyone even at the end of the year when teams are resting starters we saw what the second and third teams Cleveland players did to our starters

2 seems more likely. They already blew 2 very winnable games and if they don't sneaks some wins by over the next 4 games then it's the Saints and whoever else falls asleep behind the wheel again

Yup, our next 3 games are the most winnable out of the remaining slate with exception tho the two Saints game dotted in later on.  If we go into week 6 at 0-5, then it could get REALLY ugly.

I had them at 6  wins going in….but you gotta drop that down at this point.  Some opponent will lose and gift us a game or two.  3 seems about right.

I had us at 7 wins originally--what was I thinking???  But lol at the playoff talk before the season by some folks.

Six is the absolute ceiling I think.

I could see a win against the following

Atlanta this week (division games are weird and they are coming off a hard fought win against Minnesota)

The saints game at home

Dolphins, Last Bucs game if they are sitting starters, Seattle (if Darnold has one of those flashback Darnold games)

I don’t think there’s any shot we win a road game this year  (outside of a week 18 game where the Bucs aren’t playing)

Saints might not be as beatable as some expected. Finishing 4th in that race would be ugly. Less wins than last year would be ugly. Hard to sell building anything when they can't get to 5 wins again

The gift game was against Arizona. I still say it is a race between us and Miami for the 1st overall pick.

As soon as there is no stakes the Processor will win us a few games and ruin our chance at getting a top 5 draft pick. Ya know it is gonna happen.

    • We're a dumpster fire but better than we were at the start of last year. We graduated from epic dog chit to regular dog chit
    • There's a lot of Bryce and Evero hate today, as always, but I haven't seen the end of the first half mentioned. I want to highlight it because it's really where we lost the game, it's as infuriating as anything else that happened yesterday, and it hasn't gotten enough attention.  - Just after the 2-minute warning, Arizona kicks a field goal to make it 3-13. The Cardinals have two timeouts left. On the kickoff: Not one, but two holding penalties. Ball's spotted at the 11.  - First play: Inside zone from shotgun, for three yards. Chuba gets up ready to hand the ball immediately to a ref, but nobody else has any urgency. - Second play: Ball doesn't get snapped until 8 seconds left on the play clock. Bryce sprays a pass into the ground in front of Legette. We use 36 seconds of game time, but stop the clock for the opponent. - Third play: Shotgun snap. Bryce throws the ball low to Sanders. Sanders almost reels it in, but can't. Clock stops again. Panthers face 4th and 7. - Fourth down: Punt to Arizona. Dortch returns it 30 yards to the Panthers 45. - Following drive: Arizona uses the short field and both remaining timeouts to score a touchdown as time expires. This is the stuff that doesn't show up in the box score that loses a game, the classic hidden yards: Special teams miscues. Two holding penalties and a long punt return flip the field. Poor time management. Why run the first play if we're not going to run again? Why pass on second down if we're not going to hurry into it? Why not make the opponent use either of their timeouts?  Poor QB play. These kinds of throws get lost in the Bryce post-mortems since they only count as two incompletions, but both were makeable throws. Sacks would have been better than incompletions. He just missed the throws. It's an awful mixture of physical failure and mental obliviousness. I generally think Canales is doing a decent job, but we blew a good chance to go into the half with a game in reach despite everything going wrong. Instead, we made it much, much worse. Considering how close the score was in the end, this two-minute stretch of complete ineptitude is going hang over the rest of the season as a giant missed opportunity.
    • I genuinely don't know where the next win is coming from. 5 wins is ambitious.
