If the Panthers lay an egg at home vs Atlanta...

I think you will see some sort of shakeup.  I don't know what that is.  But the boo birds will most definitely come out and be loud.  And historically, David Tepper HATES that.

I think if you read the room, the Panther fanbase will not have tons of patience this Sunday.   Hard to guess what it could be as how we lay an egg would influence the shakeup.

I think Evero is in play (I personally think he is only employed to be a sacrificial lamb)

I think Canales turning playcalling over is in play (we saw those orders before)

I think if Bryce has 2-3 turnover day with some ugly ones a game off could be in play

If you can hear the boos loudly on TV, in the stadium and we get embarrassed, Tepper is going to have a very stern Monday morning meeting.

This isn't going to be the same ATL team we faced last year imo. The defensive players they drafted stepped up last night vs the Vikings and Penix looks pretty good.

That being said if Bryce can actually have a turnover free game, that could give us a chance to win at home.

I honestly think ATL beats the breaks off us. We have literally no answer for Bijan and our offense can't score more than 16 point when it matters. Not to mention did you see that defense flying around yesterday vs the Vikings?! Sh*t, they held the Bucs good offense to only 260 total yards. Bryce will be lucky to have 30 yards going into the half in this one.

My preferred reaction would be sending a late round pick for a Sam Howell or Jameis Winston.

true, bringing in functional competition could be out there too.  Whatever it would be, IMO will be 100% Tepper driven (not Dave or Morgan)

It would probably be more likely to happen after week 4 or 5. Bryce gets benched again, then Dalton goes out there and either gets injured or looks like dog poo and then it happens.

The knives will be out soon enough. A home blowout loss will surely be the beginning of the end for a lot of folks.

Evero firing is 100% warranted. He is just running a base defense and letting them get killed. Scheming no pressure, disguising nothing. It’s actually pathetic.

I think he's given up. No quality picks spent on defense the past 3 years. No spending on defense the past 3 years. Offense that can't fight its way out of a wet paper bag. No help. No hope. The worst owner in the history of sports at the helm. Kind of reminds me of Reich. Just waiting for the axe to fall and keep cashing that paycheck.

The easy candidate is DC firing his friend he hired to hold the clipboard.  Guy doesn't do anything anyways and it would be purely symbolic.

He’s been subordinate to Dave since Seattle and has followed him around wherever they’ve gone. He’s also someone who would have been around those late nights when Dave relapsed on porn and was going to strip clubs.

Feel free to draw your own conclusions there.

    • He’s been every bit as much of the problem as anyone else. You cant remove him from that fact, he is just as much part of the team and in THE most important position on the field. But this is the first season he’s seen any kind of continuity in his team and coaches. And he’s shown flashes here and there. But we do need more out of him going forward a lot more if we are going to be successful
    • Bryce isn’t great and super mid. But I think can be a game manager. What do we think is out there? Daniel Jones isn’t going anywher. Mac Jones? Zach Wilson? Pickett. I’m just not sure what’s out there that is much better without having to give up a ton of capital. Rather take one more step closer to contention with our early rounders next year with FS and LB help. Make this  place where dang they got a defense and a WR1 and solid RB room. I can win with that and want to be here
    • AR15 is if Justin Fields was fragile and his teammates hated him. No thanks. Ya'll think you hate watching Bryce Young? Wait until your QB can't even complete a 7 yard pass over the middle, which Fields and Richardson can't do. If the draft class was better, I could absolutely see the Titans moving on from Ward already if they got the #1 pick. But so far the college QB's haven't impressed enough. They'll have flashes, but then follow it up with a very meh game. Kyler is already done in Arizona, but he has a ridiculous contract and he's basically Bryce that likes to scramble, so no thanks. If Lawrence can't produce with that team in Jacksonville, what do you think he'll do here? He's tall Bryce who can throw deep but can't make the 4th down throws and crumbles in the red zone. No thanks. I do think Canales wants to move on from Bryce, his body language says so even in wins. He treated Bryce pretty odd this week and Bryce looked checked out in the Packers game. But unless they make another risky trade, its going to be slim pickings. Basically our hopes lie in hitting early in the draft with a Mateer, Nussmeier, Beck type or finding a random backup free agent that has another gear to hit.  I think even with the draft being wishy washy, 4-5 QB's will be taken in the top 7. A lot of teams are just that desperate.
