With the 1st Pick in the 2026 Draft....

I think every year there are guys that y'all say "meh" on and yet, they end up turning out to be great QBs....

The problem is, we can replace QB after QB but until Canales (or whoever is HC because we all know Tepper has a short leash on Canales) MUST develop a game plan and show progression.  This is why I am so against drafting a QB in the 1st unless it is a late 1st round QB.

Let's develop an identity and figure out the QB that best fits that identity. We also need to a true vet to come in and give the rookie time to develop.

Supposedly, this is the year for a QB if you need one--

If the QB has been on your roster for 3 years and you still can't get a read on him before investing $50m per year for 4 years, then the problem is organizational.  They invested in the line--they invested in WRs, they have invested in RBs...But the coaching is erratic, the play calling suspect, and the injuries and turnover are constantly too high.

Bryce has moments and when he is running hot and/or with a lead, he looks serviceable. He has some positive qualities--but a first overall draft pick in year three should not aspire to be mediocre--he needs to show signs that he is the answer.

I do not see the fire--the urgency--or the dawg.  I see a front runner who folds when the chips don't fall the Panther way.  When has he put the team on his back and rallied us from behind?  I can't recall a time when he has rallied us back from 2 scores in the fourth quarter.  I dunno.  There are so many variables, I can't tell the symptoms from the problems.

I mean, I have no idea where you are getting this idea of this being the year of the QB since the supposedly "elite" of this class are either falling on their faces or not making much of an improvement over last year's opportunity to be a 2nd to 4th round draft pick in an already weak QB draft

Our defense is trash. Trade down and get day 2 pick this year and first next.  Take defense in the first. We would botch the first pick.

No. No, no, NO. We are terrible at these trade downs. Just don't be fuging moronic and draft well at the pick you have. It's that simple

Jayden Maiava of USC has the top qbr right now.

He has two NFL WRs on his roster one being Lemons who should be a high 1st round pick. That plus Lincoln’s offense help his stats look great. Don’t get me wrong he has a nice arm and seems to throw decent on the run but he has had some bad open misses too. I wouldn’t want him in the 1st.

Is Dante Moore a 2026 prospect or 2027. All though Sellers has the most potential out of all of them, I think he should wait a year.

Moore is a redshirt sophomore so technically he can declare. I’m not sure that he will. If he does he is the best prospect by a decent margin so far.
