Drake Maye clears up any confusion on the celebration

The Superman celebration was paying tribute to his idol, he wasn't in anyway trying to mock Cam or the Panthers. He grew up a Panthers fan and Cam was his favorite player.

I can't stand the Patriots but he sounds like a good guy and he grew up a big fan of the joy Cam brought to the game. Respect.

Yea, he seems like a good kid. Makes sense he likes Cam. A Carolina kid, and was growing up when Cam was leaving his mark.

Probably. Don't know if they still are but I know his family had PSLs when he was growing up.

Oh yea, it makes sense now. He was a kid during Cams time, and was probably one of the kids competing for one of the balls the team gave away after touchdowns.

Yeah, that's how long we've been irrelevant. Starting NFL QBs were kids last we were relevant. Le sigh...
