If you start firing coaches and benching your starting qb you signal the season is over and the purge must begin. That includes trading players for draft picks.

Far as players, recently drafted players are all we have and we aren't trading guys we just signed. That only leaves horn and Brown who are staples.

Thats who I'm referring to. Both will be candidates. Maybe a qb or 2.

When Chris said: "If Mike Vrabel was brought here to coach this team and Canales was on the Patriots, what just happened to the Panthers would've happened to the Patriots".

That's a sobering thought and brings the state of of our franchise and decision makers into perspective. If that's clear to everyone inside and outside of the building, then changes need to be made.... But you can't change ownership

Tepper has to be the main dog in the building. He can't handle real football coaches like Vrabel, Sirianni etc. and needs yes men to kiss his brass balls. Thats why we get used car salesmen and preachers instead of football coaches.

Don't think you can trade Horn right now. He'd be a 22m dead cap hit next year and 6m this year.

Brown more likely but still not likely. 15.5m cap hit in 2026 and 5.5m this year.

Moton is untradable til 2026 at best.

Outside of Tet, not much else on the roster has trade value above a 2nd round pick either.

I'm telling you just wait and see. He will be the next Darnold or Mayfield

Darnold and Mayfield at least have redeemable NFL qualities and BY doesn't. He'd have to be on a roster full of all pro's to look serviceable.

Do you think this team worries about dead cap? This team has been FUBAR long before Tepper arrived. Their contracts are set up for a win now team with their money allocated in the wrong positions with older players. If they were truly rebuilding their would be more rookie contracts and little to no vet contracts over 2 years. By the time they get enough talented rookies on this team that will nedd second contracts they will still have all their money tide up in aging gets. Its FUBAR.

Been saying these things since day 1.  They hit all the points.

1.  Bryce doesn't fit these offenses.  Not Frank's nor Canales'.  He isn't a fit.  (my whole square pegs and round holes mantra)

2.  Dave's offense is suited for a gunslinger type.  They referenced Dave's previous employment in Seattle and Tampa paired w/ gunslingers.

 3.  Bryce Young is a really bad QB beyond 10 yards.

4.  Got to admit Bryce Young lacks the physical tools and it causes problems.

5.  It's evident in the situational play calling and in general they don't actual trust Bryce (and you got 2 coaching staffs in a row essentially saying all the same things about Bryce).

so add these guys to the irrational haters club.  Because they put all the greatest hits into one podcast.

I watch them all the time. Didn’t share them as no time to consolidate

they are seldom wrong
