I've been saying for years, they need a total overhaul in the scouting department. Fire every single scout. Most scouts have short contracts, hire eagles, ravens, BUCS, blowboys, rams, chiefs, and lions scout. O and whoever keeps the Steelers full of WRs. Use teppers wallet, its the best method to fixing this huge problem.

 

Holy hell.... This team is in a black hole...

so, you are a coach, you are watching practices and game film, you have a team players at a position, and practice squad players to pick from, you choose this guy over the others to start, then less than a week later you cut the guy you chose to start,

that may be the players fault for sucking but the coaches who started him over the other players are just as much the blame, so fire yourselves

I've lost count of how many times I've heard the coach and or GM say we got our guy. They look for whatever they determine fits their system. Yet nearly every one of "their guys" end up a bust. Maybe they should consider taking the best guy available for a change and see how that goes?
