Those are nice stats and all but I want to see more Atlanta games from him. He has seemed timid this year TBH.

That was a falcons defense intentionally trying to get their coach fired.

His performance this year against atlanta, even with the defense carrying him, is just what he is, and closer to his career numbers.

Ready to sign him to a 5 year 220m contract with 160m guaranteed with those numbers at the end of the season?

Yeah, on the radio the other day they were talking about QB1 contract numbers.  You have rookie contracts, FA contracts and second contracts for QB1.  While certain FA QB contracts can be pricey, most aren't that steep overall.  You have a QB1 going for his second deal, you had back up the Brinks truck.  They went through examples and it didn't matter elite or not, those second contracts for a QB1 are eye-popping and cap bloating.  They mentioned those QBs that got paid on those second deals had better be the type that can elevate a team because the cap, as a result,  is too tight to put talent everywhere else on the roster.

The issue isn't the YPA, the issue is the reason why.

And it's because he can't consistently drive the ball downfield with accuracy and on time.  He has multiple throws every week that the average NFL QB is able to make 90% of the time, but he can't throw if he's not perfectly balanced and even when he is, he can't put enough drive on throws 20+ yards downfield to get them into windows before they close.

You can't win consistently or at a high level in today's NFL with a QB like that, and it's not something he'll ever be able to do unless he starts pumping himself full of all sorts of steroids and bulks way up.

It's because of two things.

One his arm is about average, maybe slightly below average.

The thing that kills him is that his footwork is god awful and I can't for the life of me figure out why it hasn't been fixed when he's in year three.

His footwork is worse than rookie Cam Newtons was and Newton had the physical tools to over come that but BY doesn't.

You want to see... MORE... of the Atlanta game from Bryce this year?

You mean the game where he had 121 yards passing on 24 pass attempts and no passing TDs?

I think this is a perfect example of too many fans getting too excited about winning games and not actually registering what they're seeing on the field not being good football.

We won that game 30-0, yes, but it was not because of Bryce or anything he did

    • Can tell you guys don’t watch games outside of panthers . He’s a trash coach . Coty means nothing lol
    • im a big believer in strong  o lines in general and really strong  olines for not so strong  QBs and we have one if those not so strong  QBs, plus with one LT done for the year and another that is aging with knee issues, a versatile tackle, on a rookie contract for the second most important position on the team, is a good thing    from cat crave Dean Jones    “If Francis Mauigoa (Miami) made it this far down the pecking order, it would be a difficult proposition to turn down.   The Miami prospect might not have the prototypical length associated with premier offensive tackles, but you wouldn't know it. His pass protection is exceptional, which is matched by a strong base on running plays and enough athleticism to make a difference at the second level when opportunities arise. Mauigoa can play either tackle with ease. This makes him a short-term replacement for Ekwonu and a potential long-term successor to Moton. And if fans don't think this is possible in the first round, they haven't been paying close enough attention.”   Excerpt From “Carolina Panthers 7-round 2026 NFL mock draft: Pushing forward edition” Cat Crave https://apple.news/AYEo7NKteR6mIGHtthRnzZQ This material may be protected by copyright.
    • I don't know their cap situation, but if they're able to pick up Malik Willis or Mac Jones, they could be trouble. Hell, they were only one game worse than us last year. If Cousins had played all season, who knows?
