Bryce likely out next week

Dallas, Atlanta, and Miami also have better offenses than the Jets.

Our win woke Atlanta up.  I imagine the second meeting will be different.  Miami sucks, their coach may not have a job next week.  Of those three Dallas was the only team I didn't think we had a chance of beating, but we did.  On the flip side we lost to a pretty bad Cardinals team, so it washes.

It’s this type of delusional thinking that has this board thinking any QB could come here and succeed.

And bringing up Andy’s passing stats when 33 of those yards came on the final play when the Jets were playing the run is a choice. Both of Andy’s deep balls were horribly under thrown. Had he given TMac a chance maybe the ref would’ve called PI but that ball was so bad the ref wasn’t bailing him out

By the time Andy came in there were apparently 20 mph gusts on the field.

If Bryce is out I'll like to see what Dalton can do with this offense the last time he was called up he didnt have much to work with.

A disgruntled Diontae Johnson and old man Theilen.

We have the deepest receiver room we've had in a long time.

Some good young TE's.

And strong rushing attack with Rico (should be Rb1) and Chuba.

Good offensive line depth.

Say what you want when Dalton came in the passing game started pushing the ball down the field, not so much with Bryce.

Young stats: 15-25 for 138 yards and his two longest pass plays went to Chuba for 26 yards and Rico for 17 yards.

Dalton stats: 4-7 for 60 yards he eclipsed almost half of Youngs yardage in just 4 pass completions.

We have outside weapons we need to be able to keep defenses honest in order to make this offense work.

Such a good take and how I feel 100%. Would just pie, but I don’t have it right now to give. Will come back later to here and the pie thread.

This is definitely the kind of data point that is going to be great for determining where Bryce Young truly is. My personal feeling is he is holding back the offense and Morgan/Canales are forced to stick with him because of the sunk cost fallacies that Tepper forced the previous regime into.

Bills have 31st ranked run defense. Should just be like Miami/Dallas and run 40 times.

The good thing about this is Dalton can throw some bombs and keep their Defense backed up

Let's hope Canales runs the ball as much as he should. He took advantage of Dallas' defense, so we'll see

Let's be honest, both Dalton and Bryce sucks. However, Dalton can definitely replicate Bryce's 150 yds a game. That's not the problem. The problem is Canales will get cute and have Dalton throw the ball 40+ times even though the Bills have the 31st ranked run defense. If the gameplan isn't to run Dowdle and Chuba 40+ times, then we already lost before the game started.

The people saying we're gonna lose because Bryce is out is hilarious, acting like he's been the main catalyst for our 3 game winning streak lol Yeah, we more than likely lose, but it won't be because Bryce was out, it will be because Canales went full retard like yesterday.

He isn't going to keep running even though that is what this team needs to function on both sides.

Any team can have a bad day. That same bills team just lost by 10 points to a team we shutout and beat by 30.

Does that mean anything? No it doesnt, but just saying.

The bills aren't THE BILLS on the road. They average like 15 points less on the rd or some metric. It's all on if Andy hits some deep shots to help the run game bc he aint running for nothing. It could work but Andy definitely  can't be messing around. Hopefully  Lewis comes back soon.

For such a little human, Bryce Young has an incredible effect on the mental stability (and lack thereof here).

It's fair to say the red carpet of coddling was rolled out for Bryce.  He's been up and down this season.  Dalton has been around a bit, and will take his shots.  Will he be better than Bryce?  I don't know.

So the Panthers are a weird crossroads right now.  Do we have a franchise QB?  (nope)  Could we make a playoff run?  Maybe, depending on how the next few weeks workout.

Is it worth getting to a winning record and possibly playoff berth if we don't have a long term answer at the QB position?  Interesting times!

As long as Canales understands that Dowdle is the “hot hand” at RB and feeds him the rock, with Chuba spelling him, we’ll be in it.

if Dave forces Hubbard to split it 50-50, I might throw my remote through the tv.

Andy just needs to manage the game & not take sacks/throw INTs.

He got WAY too cute yesterday. First of all, you start Dowdle and stop with this rotating BS. Sorry Chuba, RBs are a dime a dozen, so go with the guy that's had a historic 3 game stretch. Neither RB can get in a rhythm when you switch them every other series.
