Canales is riding Rico too much--they are going to stack the box and force Bryce to beat them--and if they throw it to XL--odds of a turnover about 20%--hit your TEs, Coker, and TMac.

Nice celebration Rico.  We are not in it without you, but we are not losing without you.  Be smart.

Rare time I agree with you. He needs to show up on this drive

I'd rather put it in Rico or Chuba's hands right now.  Would love for Bryce to show up and silence some haters (like it would) but it doesn't seem to be an easy day to be throwing or kicking no matter who you are.

I posted a few weeks ago that my father, a Gamecock who caught 37 passes the year I was born--he knows football, told me the sign of a good QB is this--if you were behind and you had the ball on your 20,2 minutes left, and 2 time outs, would you feel that the game is yours?  He called that the measure of an NFL QB--because you need a gamer--an Alpha.

Lol.   Bryce an alpha.   Yeah you know.......

    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
    • My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.
    • Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
