Why do some of yall act like we can’t do both?

I can be pumped the team won and disappointed yet again our #1 overall qb struggle to pass for over 100 yards….

if some of you want to live in a echo chamber have at it, but the qb play by Bryce is unacceptable on a multitude of levels

Bryce is a interesting case.

His play doesnt wow you, but when called upon he makes some clutch plays.

We had that before with Delhomme a good running and some good defense that style of play can keep games close and win some games.

Delhomme could sling it down field. Those two aren’t even in the same galaxy.

Comparing Bryce and Jake is just insulting. Stop.

He also made bone headed decisions and was wildly inaccurate at times not saying the style of play is similar.

Just the formula of how the Panthers need to play to win.

Yes we won, but looking at Bryce’s stats you can clearly see who “put the team on his back” and won the game for us. I like winning, but Bryce still needs to go. Dude had under 100yards total going into the 4th with no TDs. That crap doesn’t push your team into the postseason. regardless of us winning one tonight he still needs to go after the season.

Only if the defense was elite like the Ravens back in the day. This defense has played alot better. If we can stop the outside run we could be elite. Bryce just has to manage the game which he is doing. But he isnt the answer long term. With 3 more non divisional games, the games against the Bucs will determine everything. Bryce has shown he can step it up towards the end of the year. But we will have to see.

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
