Completely reasonable to flip off raiders fans.

also there are a bunch of rumors coming out about chip kelly that really sound like Pete Carroll trying to cover for his two idiot sons.

I mean hiring Chip Kelly to do anything in the NFL in the year 2025 is just inviting catastrophe. I did not know Pete Carroll had both of his sons on staff though. That is some serious nepotism.

Bryce Young when trailing vs the Rams:

🧊 8/10
🧊 167 yards
🧊 2 TDs, 0 INTs
🧊 PERFECT 158.3 passer rating

Source: PFF

Rams are a much better defense than the 49ers and he does this in rainy conditions. clutch performance

Why can’t he just be more consistent?

Consistency will come when the play calling and team around him become more consistent as well

This team is still growing and is very young. I mean Coker X and TMac all 2nd and 1st year players

Our TE rooms blows but Evans and Sanders 1st and 2nd year

That stuff matters

Its all seems to be confidence, or lack thereof.

Yes but I think it’s both Bryce and Canales.  I was thinking today how the Rams kept passing despite Stafford throwing interceptions. When Bryce has a turnover, Canales goes into a shell and routes get shorter and more predictable.

Bryce needs to lead this team to the playoffs. He’s playing for his career here. I want to believe, and though I’ve been down on him for a long time, I’m softening up on him as the guy. Although it’s been as of late, he’s shown me that he can carry the team. That’s all I wanted to see. Take us to the playoffs, and show he’s the guy.

Not gonna hunt the quote down, but when Canales got here last year he said something like ‘Bryce doesn’t have to be the man every play. He needs to be the man 6-7 times a game’.

Not sure he is up to 7 but the 4th downs are mostly there.

My problem with him is every time there are expectations he poos the bed. He needs to show he can play when it matters the most

Was it Tremble he missed on the Tet throw that the announcer said he simply couldnt see him streaking down field.  Thats the type of poo that he cannot overcome, thats the type of poo Dave sees every week on film review

That and the XL pass on the sideline to end the half, I still can’t tell if he was throwing it away or not, if he wasn’t, that’s really bad

    • I wonder if they'd consider trading Rasheed Walker to a team that needs tackle help but missed out in the draft?
    • LOL. This is such a Panthers fan take.  Anyone who falls to us must suck because some other team didn't take them before.  We got lucky with Lemon, Thieneman, and Freeling all falling to us (honestly any of the three is a A+) but the WR and S positions are much deeper than the LT position in this draft.  We got the LT w/ the most upside at 19.  Mauigoa played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the nfl.  Spano played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the NFL due to short arms.  Blake Miller played RT in college and is not as good as Freeling.  Proctor is a true LT but his ability to handle quick edge's worries me (see Icky).  Freeling is a true LT and a gifted pass protector.  Many think he has a very high ceiling and will benefit from not having to start right away.  This is how you build a franchise.
    • After watching Cam get killed for years behind a bad Oline and having to watch the 2021 and 2023 Olines I will never complain about this team putting resources into that spot.  We got a true LT who could really push Rasheed Walker for the day 1 job. Go back and watch Iceky's draft profile from 2022 and all the talk was Ickey would be an all-pro guard in a zone blocking scheme, but he could play LT in a gap power run scheme. That's why Ickey looked really good when Wilks took over and we just started running gap run plays and just mauled people up front but under Canales we've been more of a zone running team. Ickey can survive at LT with his pass blocking but his true strength will always be his ability to just move guys in the run game and that's a skill set that's better used at guard.  Take another OT later on day 3 to learn from Moton to take over RT in a couple of years and let Walker and Freeling battle it out for the day 1 LT job then next offseason trade one of Hunt of Lewis and let Ickey move inside to guard.
