So if the Panthers win, Bryce is the star and when Panthers lose Bryce can't overcome the refs, and inept staff/teammates?  Got it.

Lol. I think you’ve mistaken me for someone else. I’ve been saying I want a new QB since his rookie year and I still want someone who can run a sneak and has a better arm but today, I’d say coaching, Iky (penalty and letting Young push him like a ragdoll), Ransam, CSW, Horn and many others had far bigger roles in this loss. That’s all I’m saying. This week is not a hate Young week like SF was.

I will say as a critic, it was not on him.

HOWEVER, he needs to learn how to sneak or we need to draft a guy like Haynes King who can come in like Taysom Hill does for certain situations.

Bring in the biggest dude on offense and let him do a QB sneak. Its not rocket surgery.

Absolute bullshit. Shough made multiple throws today in man coverage with defenders draped on receivers. And his ball placement was incredible as well.

Are you serious? Most of Bryce's completions were to guys that were wide ass open? Not sure if we were scheming it up or the Saints' coverage was just ass, but there was no where near our receivers on most of the completions. Shough hit multiple guys in stride 10+ yards down the field who weren't that open. Those are the throws Bryce really struggles to make and that's what handcuffs our offense.

Lol. Ok, Shough was amazing. Root for him. I want Young gone but this is not a week to complain about Young. Plenty of weeks before this one for that. Canales played a roll 50x larger in this loss and others. Iky killed a drive that was rolling at midfield. TMac didn’t make a great catch in the end zone like multiple Saints WRs made for Shough. He also ran a 4 yard route getting immediately tacked one yard short on 4th. Canales called the exact same play on two straight 4th and shockingly the second one failed. Lost enough points there to win easily.

Exactly. I’m an absolute critic and the no sneaks is one of my reasons to get a new QB but today was definitely not on him.

He got outplayed by a rookie 2nd rounder making his 6th NFL start and throwing for under 200 yards and barely over 60%.

I get that there's a big Bryce curve, but it can't cover up for all that.

Who cares today? Our D was letting WRs run wild and we were up 17-7 and Canales didn’t kick a FG in range, badly managed the clock before halftime taking away and chance at 4 more points and Iky derailed a drive where we were rolling with a 1st down at midfield likely costing us a FG at minimum. We could have easily been up 27-10 in the 4th.

Shouldn’t have had to cover anything. This was an easy win that other people really fuged up.

And Bryce is just blameless for his mediocre at best performance? Plenty of criticism for the coaching staff, Jaycee Horn, etc. But it's lil Bryce that people feel compelled to defend. His numbers vs. Shough's are what they are. Their QB was considerably better than ours and most of the time that happens the team on the plus side of that wins. We've just gotten cocky about being able to win in spite of Bryce this year. This is the way it usually goes.

shough outplayed young this game.  with that said young didnt play bad was actually probably the 4th or 5th best game he has had in thr nfl.  he seemed to play his worse when the game was on the line which was odd but he played well alot of the game made some big throws wrs were open all over and we still lost would love for dc to just let young sling it all over the last few games.  its been 3 years we shouldnt still be excited about a 150 yard no turnover game but thats how bad the qb play has been for a while.  if byoung fails miserably passing alot last few games so be it it shows he isnt the answr.  i have been way off the byoung train for a while but wanting him to prove me wrong or 100% correct bc lower end middle of road qb is only gonna doom the panthers to nfc south garbage for years to come

Agreed. I can’t put the loss on him, but today further cemented in my head that he’s not the guy. Not being able to do a sneak is ridiculous.

Today also made me really realize that Canales is likely not going to get us where we need to go. Today’s outcome was very predictable. This team just can’t handle real pressure situations. Canales called a terrible game. I looked at Bryce right before our last 4th qtr drive, and said yea, a 3 and out is incoming
