So... The deep balls

This is just factually not true. It’s gaslighting.  He has been one of the most unproductive QBs in the NFL deep …..and he played at Bama.  Lobbying balls to open WRs.

Bryce Young completed 2 deep balls on Sunday…against a bad Atlanta team and a handful of folks are acting like that erases reality.  Despite living through this glitch in the matrix before.

Atlanta is statistically the best pass D in the NFL

Stats lie.  It’s why you have to watch the games and look at more than stats.  They are a 3 win team with a bad run defense.

Frank’s horrific Bryce rookie season we finished with the #3 pass D.  It’s because he sucked so bad

I think, simply put, we just haven't been in phase on our scheduled deep shots

Whether its the oline breaking down in protection

The WR not getting open

Or Bryce missing them

I've seen examples of all three over the last few years. yesterday felt like the first time all three came together

Interesting how you keep posting these ridiculous comments.  He absolutely threw deep with great accuracy at Bama.  You don’t know what you are talking about as usual

Exhibit A 4th down and 1 Brycey sees Dowdle break free from the coverage and instead of floating it back corner to a wide open dowdle decided to pump fake twice and shuffle trying to beat the linebacker to the edge instead of diving..... TIMID

Exhibit 2..... you guessed it fourth and short the blitz and a gap pressure is TELEGRAPHED brycey takes the snap hesitates for a second (it wasnt right off the snap that mayes stepped on him) gets his foot stepped on and instead of tossing it back to Dowdle (right behind him) sits on his bum for turnover on downs.

Of course he did! He should have thrown for it last week too! This is the second week in a row teams literally weren't using a deep safety AT ALL because he wasnt even attempting deeper throws..  until his azz was on fire.

You can go thru all that effort and I’m not even looking at your post. Yea he got his injured ankle stepped on on a 4th down. Then he led 2 straight drives to win it.

Brycey just had the greatest statistical passing game in panthers history and you are crying about it and nit picking it. What does that say about you as a Carolina Panther fan?

For the record, Bryce attempted only three 20+ passes Sunday. That is moderately better than his 2.22/Game 2025 average and his 2.73/Game career average(not including Sunday).

I wouldn't say the "deep ball" was the reason he succeeded yesterday. It accounted for only 65 yds and 1 TD of his 448 yds and 3 TD's.

He was just better in almost every aspect. It was the 2nd highest QB rating of his NFL career.

Fair question - my biggest complaint is that we haven't given him the chance to even do it this year.

That's why I want to see him throw it deep. If Bryce sucks and throws interceptions, then we definitely have our answer of not resigning him

This 100 percent.

Open up the playbook, get Bryce mad and see if he can put the team on his shoulders again.

This was a great, great outing by him. Tough, brave, skilled. Can he replicate it? There's the millions of dollars question.

He was much better in the 10-20 yard range than he's been lately. If he can consistently nail throws in that window the deep cahcnes will come and honestly it won't matter how well he does on them.

No no the deep passes are coming, I swear, honestly, just give it more time

You sound like one of my patients in the ED for the fourth time this year telling me their abusive husband just needs more time and is ready to change

Massively so. He had a 136.46 QB Rating in the 10-20 area on Sunday. That has been his least efficient area of passing on the season with a 59.8 QB Rating prior to yesterday. It's been even less efficient than his 20+ yard attempts.
