Put him in the slot and keep him as far away from the sidelines as possible. Treat the hashes as the sidelines, and he shall not pass to the other side.

Probably good because Bryce can't throw outside the numbers anyway. And when he does he gets a grounding call that they'd never call on any other team

He gets bullied out of his spot. It’s an issue that he and TMac have. Your last 3 first rounders have a shrinking problem. Bryce doesn’t have a chance to improve. But XL and TMac can be coached out of this. Play big, if you are going to fug up do it being big and trying to impose your will. I think it will be hard to coach this into them because they are naturally pussies and have the mental capacity of Jeff Spicoli and Chad Powers.

noticed that too. Tmac's got plenty of talent and crisp route running but dear god his drops and then getting out muscled by guys less his size are frustrating.

XL's an enigma. Has all the potential to be a monster but plays like a very poor man's Funchess week after week.

I’ll be honest I don’t think I’ve seen an illegal touching call outside of special teams in the 20 years I’ve been watching football….

Then Legette comes along and it seems every week he is getting this call. How can you keep putting out a guy to play who can’t do basic football stuff, it’s ridiculous.

His overall lack of awareness is what kills me. He has all the physical tools, but seems to stay checked out mentally.

    • Ehlers needs to sit. Definitely can't lose him to a meaningless game.
    • Bet didn't hit because the referee missed 3 clear corner kicks. I had a 5k parlay that would have been alive tomorrow if he didn't miss those calls as well. Super annoying
    • I don't think it's at all a given that we have players who are good at driving the basket. I guess that depends on your definition. Bridges is 43rd in attempts in the paint Miller is 64th and LaMelo is 66th. We all love to see the lob threat but it's largely miniscule at this point in time. There's gotta be a solution here if LaMelo is to be the centerpiece because this is simply not sustainable if we want to continue to ascend. If he can't drive to the basket then that means we need to add another player to the core who consistently can. That would require moving someone like Miles Bridges. And that's certainly not going to be popular with LaMelo but something has to give here for what we are investing and we need to maximize guys like Miller and Knueppel on rookie deals while we still can. The three chucking is fine when it's working where the issue comes into play is there are no adjustments when it isn't and we just go into a shell and begin to look like the Hornets of yesteryear. That's why the offensive evolution of all involved is critical to us taking the next step. Getting to the play in is nice but we should have our sights set much higher. Right now though they need to take care of business against the Heat. All I ask is that they at least beat those fools. I cannot stand the Heat.
