I’m afraid this is going to be another huddle prophecy that we unfortunately have to wait another season before anything realistically happens

in reality the team should move on from both this offseason

The team has just lost a game due to poor coaching decisions and worse QB play. We fall to 6-6 and begin to dream of a world where we have moved on from BY.

This is purgatory.

I'm ready to move past Young.

Still wanna see what Canales looks like with a different QB.

This is where I'm at.

We have to accept at this point that any front office and head coaching candidates with other equivalent options aren't gonna sign up to work for David Tepper. Our shopping list starts where everyone else's ends. So I'm not exactly chomping at the bit to fire Canales. Hell, he's Tepper's best coaching hire to date.

I'm so done with Caneles, we ran Rico 6 times in a game where we were down just one score for the majority of it.

Chuba got 3 carries for a total of 9 carries.

The Arizona Cardinals who were down multiple scores had more carries than that.

We get the ball with 55 seconds to go before halftime he calls some rink-a-dink and dunk passes one resulting in a incompletion and we have to punt the ball back to the 49ers and they didn't even have to burn a timeout.

Bryce Young play aside, that's not winning football from a coaching aspect, he's too pass happy, what happened to the toss runs that killed Miami and Dallas over and over and killed us when we played Buffalo.

Rico got one toss play for 17 yards.

What a gift of game our defense gave us, for the offense to look Jimmy Clausenesque.

hard to gameplan when you have to coddle a midget cosplaying NFL qb each weekend, and trust said midget to be half decent. canales for the most part calls games knowing he is hamstrung with a bottom tier qb and an oline succumbing to injury with no true speedster at wr.

and to be fair, canales was clearly spooked about something from the 49ers defense and he shouldn't have been as scared. but bryce young hasn't earned the right to let his HC be confident in him, especially after his first INT.

he's still clearly trying to navigate being a coach but has shown way more positives than negatives for the most part. i mean this team looks near playoff ready minus QB and that's big props to him.

imo canales should get one more year with his choice of qb. one he trusts to open the playbook, because last week shows with half decent qb play he can work good magic. bryce young's inconsistency is why this team won't reach the next level and dave tepper better suck it up, realize his weird infatuation with young was an error to the nth degree, and move on.

bryce young should pack his bags and look into being a backup for the rest of his nfl career. maybe his cerebral chatgpt bionic superprocessing computer would have value as part of an nfl team's coaching staff.

but i'm done playing the "maybe he'll finally play at nfl starter level" game with young. he's shown he'll never be consistently good and it's time to show him the door.

Hate to break it to ya, we aren't getting anybody better than Canales as a HC because of Tepper's reputation. Canales at least has us in playoff contention late in November. Bryce on the other hand needs to gtfo as soon as this season ends. I YEARN for Teddy Bridgewater watching Bryce, that's how fuggin bad he is. I have no doubt though (following the trends of this stupid ass franchise and owner) that Bryce will no doubt be our starting QB next year with no real competition brought in.
