2023- Panthers trade DJ Moore 

2024- Panthers trade Brian Burns 

We brought in Bryce Young...exchanged a first and traded away the '24 first, which ended up being pick 1. 

That's 5 first rounders we mismanging in 3 years. Not to mention the 2's.  

Take those same 3 players n put them on our roster now and subtract Bryce. Add in Canales's dumb ass and give him either Sam Darnold or Baker...hell give him PJ Walker. Smdh...coulda, woulda, shoulda...

Honestly he looked fine, but it also seemed pretty clear why hes averaging 3.6 ypc or whatever.   He definitely looks a little less explosive.  He looked a little more like the equivalent of a slot receiver thats good against zone coverage.

I didn't want to pay him and they should have traded him before the 20+ million in dead cap.

I feel this is another "blame tepper", he wanted a QB and Panthers only had 4 draft picks. CMC got a bad health report and missed games, but league still valued him and he was the best player on the team. Shitttttterererererererer traded him for 4 future picks, the future 2nd ended up being 61st........so all the other draft picks in 5th 4th were next to last, just a mistake. Yes 49ers at the time looked cook, but CMC helped them reach the SB. Used that 2nd and 3rd in the BY and DJ Johnson trades.....just awful returns.

It was dirty to wilks to trade CMC while he was trying to make the playoffs, best I member the run game got better after the trade....

 

Im just one of those "never pay RB, safety, or MLBs" unless cheap/all world. CMC is not all world, but he's dang close. 

Poorly handle, he bought a big home and thought he'd remain a career panther....Herniay made him the 16 million man, tops by 4 full million and no RB passed that mark for 2 years, God dam fug you herniay. 

Im anti-RB, but about the last thing they should have done was trade a 1000 1000 threat that wanted to stay here, just total fumble by the Panthers/tepper/herniay/fittterererererererere per normal for this time-line.

Side note: Cmac is a HOF talent...although he couldn't stay healthy he did want to stay a Panther. And all the picks we got in return from his trade, I'd be willing to bet we pissed away.

Keep coping, he was a Cali kid who grew up a niners fan on a struggling southeastern franchise with a dumbass owner going nowhere, both his Mom and Wife said he wanted out of Carolina 

We traded him for the same reason we traded Thielen, he didn't want to be here, has if all his glass hamstrings didn't already demonstrate that

And all those wasted Bryce picks back Hard to imagine we’d not have been winning the last three years.

Well we lost those decent players but our brilliant front office replaced them - with Mingo, and Jonathan Brooks and DJ Johnson.

 

In other words, it's not just losing great players, we are really bad at identifying talent to replace them. When we do get some talent, our staff has trick plays to break the opponent's minds and uses the least likely player to sideline our talent. The other team doesn't have to take our stars out of the game - we do it for them.

this puts it into perspective a panthers team with all of those and a halfway decent qb would be a serious playoff team
