Idk I’m torn on Dave. I think he tries to hard to be a people pleaser. I want a coach with a Killer instinct.

bryce is the problem. I don’t think you can pin as much on Dave as you can on Bryce and his limitations.

The San Fran game was on Dave a bit more though, bc the run game was successful per carry.

They're both shitty at their jobs. Young is the stinkier turd though.

Listening to the radio broadcast through the first quarter, Luke and Jake are really not holding back.  It’s almost laughable how every pass play ends with them saying “the play was there, he just missed him…”.  Luke literally said on one of the early drives that Canales made a great play call, the rams came out in man, we ran a mesh concept, Coker was wide open and Luke said the ball was just too high.  And again, it’s like every fuging pass play.

i told yall last week, the amount of plays per drive that are there for a positive gain and should be routine, and Bryce just fuging ruins them.  He single-handedly kills drives because he can’t do basic poo.

Meanwhile, Shedeur is balling

Yea at this point if the Panthers haven’t seen enough to not pick up his 5th year option and go draft another QB, this team is hopeless

If I was a player on that defense I’d hate Bryce Young at this point. Last two games out there getting turnovers, even scoring in this game  and he can’t do sh*t.

probably even worse for the WRs.

imagine you're Coker, sitting there on a bare minimum UDFA contract, trying to make a name for yourself and set yourself up for a big contract down the line, and you've got this bum throwing up wounded ducks to you

Seriously, we wasted about 30 seconds to have an incompletion off a scramble.

It was a minute left at midfield with 3 timeouts, there was literally zero reason to not call a timeout there.

Canales ISN'T THE GUY, maybe even more so than Bryce not being THE guy, which is saying something.

Bringing either of them back next year will be a mistake, but sadly we're likely going to bring both back and just double down on the stupid.

It shows his lack of belief in Bryce.  Now what if we did call that timeout and Bryce did the same poo he ended up doing?  Now we give Stafford the ball back with around a full minute left to drive the field for another score.  Again, it’s Bryce fuging everything up.

I get that but he has to disregard that when a player is more open.

I totally get that and not saying he shouldn't be.

Just pointing out that I don't think it's a case of him locking in on T-Mac as much as Canales being the one who is "forcing" him to do that because of how few play calls Bryce gets to where he even has a chance to throw him the ball.

Case in point, we had what, a 3rd and medium at one point in the game so far.  T-Mac with 1 on 1 coverage on the left side of the field, so of course the only natural play call is for Bryce to catch the snap, not even take a drop back, and rise up and throw an incomplete pass out to Coker (I think) on the right side of the field.

I'm sorry, but we have one of the league leaders in 1st down catches with 1 on 1 coverage and you don't even allow your QB to look his way.  And we've been doing that ALL season long, just terrible.

(and no, don't attack me for "complaining that my guy isn't getting targets", we have a true #1 WR who just doesn't get targeted when he should be, it's just dumb)

Tell the panthers subreddit that. You'll get stoned. To them, Bryce Young is the truth and we're lucky to have him.

Thats where I start to believe in the dead internet theory.  It’s already been revealed Reddit is where they really have been testing the AI bots hard.  The people aren’t people.

no way, real football people watch Bryce Young every week and don’t think his is a liability we are forever trying to figure out how to win in spite of him.  As far as commentators, they haven’t been watching Bryce’s career…..there literally is no reason for anyone not associated with Carolina to tune into his play each week

Yeah, I said this a few weeks back.  Our WR room is full of better men than me, because I would’ve been aired Bryce’s sorry ass out to the media or just beat his ass myself.  Our WRs have pretty much agreed to just be soccer players with the amount of running they’re doing for nothing (*with the added risk of hospital balls).

Disagree 180 degrees...

We've got some good personnel but the scheme stinks.

I'd add that some of our bad defensive draft picks were guys Evero lobbied for.

I don't want either one, but Bryce has been given every advantage possible to be successful and could be replaced by virtually any backup in the NFL and likely a few PS players and we'd get better results.

Evero's defense has shown up and done their part more times than Bryce has this season. Yes the scheme sucks. He's got a defense with starters that probably wouldn't be on a roster on other teams.

Neither one are good. The defense has given Bryce opportunities to win games and Bryce has poo the bed repeatedly. Bryce hasn't given a dominant offensive performance where the defense could have an easy day.

Bryce should have been left in SF last week. If we're being honest, Bryce should never have started an NFL game, ever. But this is a comparison of turd vs turd. It doesnt matter. They're both turds. Flush em both.

This is what I’m saying, I somewhat get it. Because he didn’t want to give the ball back to the Rams. The comeback route to leggette was open but of course Bryce over throws bc he’s launching from 3 foot off the ground to grown men.

and then Bryce getting stepped on again just standing still in the pocket on the sack.

a timeout after the Rico run was the right move. But I see Dave’s thinking, again playing to limit mistakes and end on a FG.  You’d like to see some aggression though, against a team like the rams. If they give you openings you take them you can’t play passive.

Shocker must’ve been one of the first AI bot prototypes.🤣🤣🤣

Nobody said we had to throw the ball there after a TO.

Call the time out, get the personnel you want on the field and get a good play call in and just run the ball again if you don't trust Bryce to not giving it right back to the Rams.

It was poor clock management, no if's, and's, or but's about it

The commentators nailed when they said Bryce Young has learned to be a better game manager.  He really hasn't improved his skills in the passing attack...at all, but he's been better at managing games with a solid rushing attack. So yeah, play action is going to pop when the defense is looking to stop the run.

Game managers don’t take sacks in that situation

how that little bastard didn’t see two 6’ 5” 370 lb men being pushed back into is beyond me

he needed to throw that ball away  not take a sack

over him. Seriously over him

Well, Dave obviously does not trust Bryce to move them down the field passing the ball and the Defense and has yet  to slow down the Rams. Calling timeouts would have given the Rams plenty of time to add to their lead.

The two pass plays called  on the last drive resulted in a terrible pass thrown to a wide open Leggette and a sack. Not much more you can do if you don’t trust your QB.
